The Human Bean — Restaurant in Georgia

normally they are okay. my normal inconveniences with them is that I have to ask for a bag and a drink carrier each time when every time I order it is 2+ sandwiches and 2+ drinks. I have been coming almost every morning for the past week because I have family in the hospital so going up 5 stories each day obviously I need a drink carrier but surely every time I ask for it I'm made to feel stupid for asking. normally they get the drinks right but today not so much. I ordered a small cappuccino and an extra sweet vanilla latte. at the window they told me they accidentally made the cappuccino a medium do you want us to make it a small? i was going to say no thats fine but before I can answer she adds it's like the same amount of liquid in the small but more foam. this was for my family in the hospital and I know the one thing for them that could ruin the drink is too much foam, they hate that, so I reluctantly say yes please if you could make it a small thank you for letting me know. and she clearly did not want to do that. so why offer? then on the way to the hospital I took a sip of the extra sweet vanilla latte and it was entirely just a sip of espresso mixed with milk. no sugar or syrup. I get to the hospital and stir it up because maybe the syrup settled at the bottom but unfortunately stirring did nothing.

it's not the girls fault. it's that they usually only have one or two people in the small little store with a long line of cars. trying to compete with Starbucks but having 1/8 the staff is ridiculous.

also the online menu is horrendous. I had to use a 3rd party site to figure out their gluten free options. because when you go to the human bean website they have their main menu but it says each location is different so to see your location menu to put in the zip code. but when you do it takes you to just the drink menu. you cannot see the food menu on the website for yout...

Asked for a dirty chai with almond milk and white chocolate syrup. This is a typical drink I get at a good handful of other coffee shops. This is by far the worst and over priced for a 1/2 oz.

I know what a drink taste like that has milk in it. It tasted like bad tap water with a splash of espresso in it. The syrup was not present in the flavor at all I’d match this up to the equals parts of gas station coffee.

On top of the fact when I called back to inform them the young lady tells me the milk might have been bad but they don’t know until someone tells them!!

Listen what in Gods name! You don’t tell a customer that. On top of if you’re giving your customers bad milk you SHOULD KNOW immediately before selling it. Idk who’s the manager here or who owns it but you might want to do better training and quality checks.

I know what a milk creamy chai looks like this wasn’t it. $8 bucks wasted

The only upside was it was made very hot. Outside of that no brownie points...

I have never had a more terrible experience than this today. I went through the drive thru and ordered two coffees. The server gave us the cups that were already leaking out coffee. The second I drove off, the lids opened and spilled hot coffee all over me, my jacket, and my car. I will never be coming back. I have to wash my car seats and dry clean my jacket and I had to throw out the terrible coffee as well. How can you overfill the cups and serve boiling leaking liquid? I am sure I have burns from the hot coffee falling all over me while driving. I had to stop at the nearest parking lot to stop the burn.

You ruined my day and I would like you to pay for getting my car cleaned, my jacket dry cleaned, and also refund the amount for the coffees. YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER WHO CAME HERE...
