I will never eat at this waffle house ever again! It's 10:00 at night and is a young punk hangout!! these "dumb''s parent's that these punks belong too need to take care of their kids!! teach these punks life in general and morals! I set at the high top counter facing the cook, which was old enough to be a parent to these punks! these teenage kids which was 15 of them, took up all the booths on one side of the restaurant, taking away seating for good paying customer that were coming in and having to wait, Out of the 15 kids, two of them order something while the others were acting like fool's, I didn't think that the waffle house corporation would put up with these no paying punks taking up there seating for people trying to come in and eat that are paying customer. Every word out of these kids mouth was the "F" Word, which the cook expressed her self too, by joining them using the "F" Word within the conversation she and these punks were having. She also complained about working three shifts and that she didn't feel like cooking! when I received my food it was half cooked, how can you not know how to cook hash browns, or fry a egg! this kid had a jeep wrangler right outside the door running and fumes work coming into the waffle house as people tried to eat, the waitress could only say sorry to the other customer for the fumes, told us that the kid wont shut it off, she not have enough sense to pick the phone up and call Cobb County Police, they will come out and make him shut it off, and run them home were he should be in the first place. the waitress was as dumb as the cook, again the waffle house corporation doesn't care enough about there reputation to allow this crap to go on. As I go to leave the restaurant, the parking lot was full of these punks, just setting idle in there cars and trucks in the middle of the parking lot of the restaurant. Come On Waffle House Corporation take back your restaurant and run these punks off before you close your store for loss of revenue, Oh! by the way, another young male waiter was giving your food away to these kids along with the cook, who told one kid that was heading out the door that he could...
Read moreSo i visit the local WH at 5:30 on a Sunday morning. Immediately I share with the waitress how I desperately need Coffee. Apparently when the first customer of the morning (me) comes in, that is the signal to think about making some coffee in the 24/7 never closes restaurant. So the waitress brings some ice water to me as i gaze at the coffee maker slowly dribbling out coffee. Then I order eggs, grits, and bacon. How about cheese in the grits sir? Sure. Then the food comes out just as the coffee machine is finishing up and it is going to be a great morning. Nah. As I am poking at the grits I notice a slab of pressed cheese product under the surface. The "slices" that Kraft births into individual flat cellophane capsules. Ugh. Well it should melt ... melt? ... melt? It's not melting. I take a small bite and the grits could have been out of the refrigerator they were so "not hot". So I ask if they could microwave the grits. Oh sir, we do not have any microwaves. Well in that case, take these back and make some hash browns for me. Then the waitress, not the cook, leans over the grits pot by the grill with a thermometer for a while. In short, (too late) don't go to the Waffle House when they...
Read moreI didn't get the pleasure of learning the name of the two ladies who I had the privilege of waiting on me tonight. It was around 2:50a.m on Sunday morning. Normally I go to a different waffle house in the early a.m. But, no longer! These ladies stole the show! Whether or not the cook was a Rockstar but, she rocked out! Chicken patty melt and Texas patty melt, cooked with bread buttered perfectly. You know, where it allows the bread to be soft while yet, still crisp enough to securely contain the ingredients inside. Onions, sauteed to perfection and, the extra (a slice extra then, the standard two) cheese melted over the contents, to lock in every flavor from the griddle top. The waitress! She had the ability to know, what it was exactly i wanted or, was forgetting, even when i didn't. She had exceptional personality and, made the experience one of a kind. Thank you waffle house at Mars Hill Rd, for making my night/day! These two ladies will be the only service employees at waffle House, I done with...
