Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

Should be Zero stars, waitress got no tip. Worst experience i have ever had at a Waffle House. I made a serious mistake going there right before shift change. Was treated like i was a bother to the waitress and cook. waitress Casey had the personality of a rock and walked around like she was either high on drugs or very very tired but for her young age, a eight hour shift should have been no problem. The coffee was cold, had to ask them to make a new pot, my wife had to wipe off our table from the previous customer, Casey did not come around and ask if we needed anything and if our meal was OK , which by the way she got wrong or the cook just did whatever wanted. Casey was telling people the grill was closed and they were leaving, should have told them of the shift change and the grill just needed to be cleaned and give the customer the option to wait or leave. Never never turn away a paying customer. Even though the order was wrong the food tasted good. Had to ask twice for a to go box and it took forever to pay the bill, had to wait for someone from the next shift to take care of us. The girl from the third shift did apologize for the problems though she did not cause the issues. One of the waitress had a ribbon on stating it was her birthday expecting extra tips that we thought was very tasteless. I think the staff needs a refresher course in...

I went with my 3 kiddos (5 & under) tje staff sat across the room "welcome" friendly but awkward. We picked a seat and we're greeted by the server. We received 2 sets of silverware, which was odd. And the whole meal only has the 2 to divide between the 3 of us eating. I ordered coffee but got water. Honestly probably for the best saved me from having to try coffe yhst I sqe sitting ehen I walked in... and the whole hour I was there. For $3.50, I probably dished a bullet on that one. I just got a mcdonalds large coffee after for 2 bucks. Asked for medium meat for my steak meal. Small steak, mostly fat/chewy, very over seasoned and I askex for medium - was more full on dead burried and died again. In between orders the cook was out sitting with the servers in the corner chatting eating a meal. Also very weird to me as that's NOT norm in any restaurant or food establishment. Not offered syrup for the waffles for the kiddos or sauce for my meat.

The server was super nice to the kiddos. Had a chat with my lil guy about games he was pretty awesome and gave us tips on where to get some more for a good bargain. Left him. Good tip for little ones...

Mostly alot of waffle house's server you amazing food that are just right,but this one isnt any of them. They don't ask you if you want a refill, they dont pick up your plate just so it wont be in the way, they forget parts of you food or they mistaken your food with somebody else the main promblem in this one specific restruant here at Augusta is that they depend on their memorie to often and its good what so ever. This restraunt confuse your food very often, they forget to put some extra things that wanted on your food, hashbrowns are usally burnt and very crunchy, the staff there keeps forgetting what to do and usally walks back and foward which means they have no idea what there doing. I get the point this restruant is usally busy in the morning but their orders are always mix up, and you want to know why? Its because they DEPEND to much of their memorie instead of writting it down on a piece of paper. And i know im not the only one that has this promblem many people have these type of experinse as well. I dont blame the manager for this, i blame the people he/she hired to work that place.
