7-9-19 I normally tend to come to this location at night, that’s probably my mistake! Tonight the speaker was broken and they had a sign that read “ sorry, our order box is broken so please say hello so that we know that you’re there. “
Like most nights, the line is normally long. I said hello at the reading the sign and got no reply,so I said it once more. After seeing one car leave the drive-through line once they got in their order, I said hello once more...still nothing. I then said well “I guess I’m going to order at the window then” & proceeded to pull up to the drive-through window. Once I got there the girl said the total for the car behind me. Now I’m not soft spoken at all, I’m from Chicago!
I then explained to lady that I was sitting at the order box and said hello three times but didn’t get an answer. I thought the young lady that I simply just want to shake and she told me that she didn’t hear me at the bar but they don’t take orders at the window and asked me to pull around and try ordering again. Y’all.... I literally just wanted a milkshake!!
By that time I threw my car in park and requested to speak to a manager. She asked that a manager come to the window but I’m assuming that he was helping out with the food because it had took four more people to order before he came.
He then asked me what could he help me with and I gave him my order and he asked if that was it. I told him that that was literally what I want to order and I told the young lady the same thing. He was very respectful and made sure I got my order right away. I think the manager for helping me out and tell him to have a nice day. The young lady handed me my order and I told her to have a nice day she said nothing. I had some selective words for her after she continued to be rude when I was only trying to be nice.
I don’t think I’d ever eat here again at night nor get a milkshake here!! The midday staff however are very...
Read moreCame through the drive-through on Wednesday, May 29th, at 6 pm. It took me 16 minutes just to move up 4 feet to order and another 20 minutes to get my food. When I finally got to the window, we were greeted by a lady with glasses who said our card swipe didn’t go through and she couldn’t read the numbers on our card. The card was not locked and had more than enough money on it. When we asked to use Apple Pay, she had a really bad attitude and said we were supposed to inform them at the speaker because it’s a different system, which didn’t make sense.
I’m in management at a local Chick-fil-A and understand that not everyone uses the same system, but her attitude and problem-solving ability were unbelievably low. She didn’t know that I come to this location frequently and use Apple Pay without notifying them at the speaker. She then asked us to read the card number out loud, which seemed very sketchy, but we tried, and she said it didn’t work. When we went to pull up our bank app, she closed the window hard with a bad attitude, talking to someone in the back. She then asked for the card to try again, and it worked. When we nicely asked for the receipt to ensure we weren’t double-charged, she dropped it right before we could grab it.
Absolutely awful experience. This is a location I visit frequently and usually hold in high regard, but it’s hard to find good workers these...
Read moreI feel like every time I come here, the service gets worse and worse, which is sad because it's close to my church, and I come here a lot. Last night was just extremely unprofessional. I paid a dollar more than my total and was told they didn’t have change for it. Instead of checking another register or looking before saying this, they just asked if that was okay. It felt like that money might have gone into her pocket at the end of the night.
Then, the door was slammed on me while I waited. The employees started talking, dancing, and pushing up against the window. I still hadn’t received my change, and when my food was finally ready, it was dangled in front of me, practically tossed, and the door was slammed again immediately after I grabbed it.
It was incredibly unprofessional, and I don’t want to escalate this into a formal complaint. However, the employee who did this looked very similar to a girl we had an issue with a few months ago. That time, she lied to us about Apple Pay not working and kept our card in the back for a long time. It took a manager just five seconds to process our payment on Apple Pay—despite her claiming both Apple Pay and our card weren’t working, when they...
