If I could give a no star rating that is what this Wendy's location would get. I arrived at this location at about 10pm, placed an order at the drive thru, paid for my order and when I got to the pickup window I was told that one of the meals was not availabe. I was disapointed, but said what else was available. I was told that I could get my money back, sorry. I said I don't want money back please let me order something else. The shift manager said she could offer me something of equal or lesser value, how about a kids meal, it has a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets and small fries. I thought she was just being smart. This got some snickers from the 6 or 7 young people all standing around by the window. I ask her if this is the way to treat a customer. She said I offered your money back and that's all I can do. I told her to give my money back. She brought my money and I asked her for my receipt which I could tell distrubed her. About 10 minutes later she brought my receipt. By this time there were 8 people crowded around the window just having a good old time with the whole situation. A nineth employee was emptying the trash can at the end of the drive through lane. He was making obsence gesture and saying something I couldn't understand. When I finally started to leave the jerk emptying the trash made an obsence gesture and told me to "go F--K myself". I got out of my vehicle and he ran away. I will never visit this location again. The nine young people were rude, crude and disrespectful and evidently know nothing about customer service! 10 pm and there were 9 employees basically partying behind the counter and the single customer, me was just an inconvenience. IS THIS ANY WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS??? UPDATE: TRIED TO CONTACT STORE MANAGER, WENDY'S CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WENDY'S CORPORATE. NO BODY ANSWERED ANY PHONE CALLS. CALLS WERE DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS AND CORPORATE DIDN'T HAVE ANY OPERATORS ON DUTY.
WENDY'S DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS...
Read moreUpon entering the Frontline cashier was seated at the round table with a drink that she left at the table. This round table is the only large enough table to seat our party. Which was okay. I was taught there are always things to be done, and there were several cars in the drive thru.
The dining room was clean with the exception of the bench seating which is collapsed and has a sign designating the area as out of order.
Our order was taken quickly, and efficiently. The food was okay, but put together very messy, and I had to completely reassemble my sandwich in order to eat it.
Once we received our food more people started coming in. Someone in line had to run back out to their vehicle to get their payment, and others in line became rude and angry with the sweet cashier while waiting for that customer to run back in. Since there was one cashier 2 sets of customers had to wait. One woman requested the manager who once she appeared explained how the register worked (voiding orders and such) and thanked everyone for their patience.
To the community members who request locations like this one. Be patient during lunch hours. These people are working on a short staff (obviously) the location is polite and although can use some fine tuning in minor things like staying busy and making the sandwiches not falling apart (but only on occasion) please be nicer.
To the staff. These people were upset because the cashier wandered off, and there was no one present to explain what the wait was. Stay at your station and communicate if there are any delays. More times than most people don't become upset until questions aren't answered or there...
Read moreThe crew here is very hardworking. Most of the time they are short staffed, with maybe one or two people handling the drive thru intercom, putting orders together, cash registers, and making the food! Regardless, they will help you in getting anything you ask for and not make you wait forever in a drive thru line, if they can help it!
Just today, I watched a kind woman, named Jackie, take orders from her drive thru headset and fill the drive thru food orders that were before & after the current order she was keying into the register. I've worked in fast food and that's not an easy task to get right. She managed it like a pro with a smile on her face. She also remained pleasant with me when I asked her for some additional (not so common) extras to go with my meal. She took the time to look around the restaurant for me to have the Splenda (sugar substitute) I asked for, even though rushing me through would've benefitted her. Her character qualities and thoughtfulness towards me as a customer are what will have me coming to this location to eat, even with the short staffing and sometimes longer wait times. I even asked Jackie for a receipt, so I could complete the Customer Satisfaction Survey on the back. It's important for hardworkers like her, who really only make enough to get by, to be recognized when they go the extra mile b/c truthfully there are not many of us who would at that compensation per hour. Thank you to Jackie and Wendy's @ Thompson Bridge Rd....
