Lesson learned. Yet another Douglasville fast food place going down hill quick. I could tell by the way I was greeted I should just leave immediately but I ordered anyway
The girl at the window told me they were out of chicken and to pull into the handicap space. There was already someone pulled up ahead of me.
I told her that parking in a handicap space was illegal and that someone might actually need that space. I told her I would wait there. I mean it is a chicken place. It isn't like I'm the one holding up progress with my special order. I'm going to take a wild guess here and say the people behind me planned to order chicken too. She told me again to park in the handicap space.
I requested my money back which must be the most amazing thing that has ever happened at Zaxby's because "He say he not parkin' in the handicap and he want his money back" was stated by nearly every worker there at least once. I guess that is the all hands on deck call because now everybody in the kitchen is now gathered around the register and looking out the window.
So now I have a group of legal scholars that just couldn't pass up that Zaxby's money after Harvard Law School discussing with each other that it is ok to park in the handicap space because it is "Zaxby's property".
Amazingly while this is happening someone pulled the old fish and loaves trick because now my order was ready and at the window.
I told them I didn't want it at this point and just give me my money back.
As I was leaving the girl who took my order took a break from chatting up the guy who pulled forward to mock me as I passed.Truly a pos individual who has no business dealing with the public. My receipt says Ashland but I'm not sure if that is her or one of the other 6 people at the register figuring out how to do a refund (they kept the original).
I drove over to the Thornton road location which was far busier yet I was greeted politely and received my food quickly.
Arrived a few minutes before 9 pm. The restaurant was out of grilled chicken, spicy mushrooms, and they had already shut down the drink machine. Needless to say no drinks. Since I couldn't have a soda, I requested 3 cups of ice to go with the 3 meals I ordered. Was told it would be $0.50 each. I understand that cups cost, however because the establishment couldn't provide what is normally expected, I was wondering if they would waive the charge. Was told no. Ok. Requested to speak with mgr. Management, in a rude tone and demeanor stated to me that I was told at the beginning of my order that the drink machine was down. Needless to say I was not. If I had been told in the beginning I would not have tried to order a large coke after I ordered 2 salads, an order of 10 wings, tried to order spicy mushrooms (at that time I was told they didn't have spicy mushrooms) afterwards was when I requested a drink and was told the machine was down. The manager is in desperate need of customer service development classes. I refuse to argue back and forth with ignorance. I did express that I wished that I had not paid money to that location. The manager didn't hesitate to reply with a stronger attitude "I can put the money back on your card " I had to hold my peace. At this point, I didn't want to spend another moment of my time conversing with less than good and I certainly wasn't going to hand over my card to an unprofessional person who was in charge acting like someone who was ready to engage in discord. I drove off. I will never go back and unless you don't mind taking a chance at dealing with major attitude, ghetto acting customer service, I would advise you to drive past there and don't look back. Take your money somewhere else. THE MOST REGRETTABLE $32...
Read moreThis has to be the WORST Zaxby’s in town! I paid $25 and would’ve been better off going next door to McDonald’s because the quality of food I received here was worse than eating off the dollar menu. The cashier Jonathan was horrible, I asked for our chicken to be tossed in bbq and asked for extra. When we got our food I had to return the sweet tea because it tasted sour like it had been sitting all day. Opened our food and saw the chicken barely had any bbq sauce on it, asked Jonathan if he could take it back and have them add more sauce and he said it would be easier to just give me bbq packs. He gave me 2 and I asked for 2 more because we had 2 meals and every was DRY! He then told me I had to pay $.50 I didn’t have any cash so I used my card and as I’m sitting there I’m thinking I don’t even want this food anymore so when he came back to the window I asked if he could just take the food back and refund me my money. He loudly said JESUS. as if I was bothering him I told him never mind and pulled off. Needless to say I was still hungry after wasting $25 with them. I tried to call the store this morning to talk to a manager and of course no one answered and their mailbox was full. I normally don’t do this but I will be contacting corporate on this store. Customer service is everything and this store has none! If I could’ve gave 0 stars I would have. Save your time and...
