This Papa John's has lost all of our family's respect - we will never order from another Papa John's Pizza again - during these unprecedented times with COVID-19 and the precautionary measures most of the restaurants are taking to keep supply and demand up and not have a shortage with surplus and keep their businesses afloat and employees still working and consumers purchasing- to advertising no-contact delivery provide the exact instructions on your web portal with in depth details so consumers know exactly what to expect and not receive those services is a disgrace and inconsiderate to the individuals who order from your company - on 4/21/20 - we decided to order pizza- I am in healthcare - my husband is in the government field and with so many working parents in this industry right now it is very overwhelming and tiring to say the least and for most pizza most nights is the go to, well for us, until 4/21, Papa John's was ours - the no contact delivery option we selected consisted of the following steps - 1) order pizza 2) ordered processed 3) pizza sealed in the box (meaning we would break the seal when we got our pizza delivered) 4) delivery individual gets to our home places pizza on block/brace, warmer placed on that element pizza on top of that 5) deliver person rings door bell - stand 6ft feet back (practicing social distancing) 6) Once I come to the door pick up my pizza close door 7) delivery person obtains his/her pizza warmer, block/brace and leaves - easy breeze - right? - wrong - not what happened at all - when we ordered as we normally do - we track- we know when the pizza is made, when it is in the oven, when it is on the way, - well the delivery driver just dropped off our pizza on our porch right in front of the door - not on a barrier as described, no seal on the box, no delivery driver to greet- it was like a drive by- when I tell you I was not at all happy I was not - we opened the pizza boxes and there was nothing wrong with the pizzas however it was not the method in which Papa John's stated they would start delivering their pizzas during this time - I immediately got on the phone talk to a representative who was very rude - did not even care to hear about my concerns in regard to their protocol about how our pizza was delivered- she asked was anything wrong with our pizza? I expressed to her did she not here what I said - it was like it went in one ear and out the other- then she proceeds to tell me that the driver was new and she would speak to her - at that point and during these times that was not satisfactory since those precautionary measures should have already been in place - it was like she did not care - that would be like myself not caring or making a mistake with one of my patients - she did not once apologize and when I asked to speak to the manager her response was she is the manager - I could not believe it - I told her we would not come back to Papa John's again and then she hung up - I wrote the corporate office and placed a complaint - and still have not heard anything - received a survey rated which was not good the survey asked if I wanted a call back I expressed yes still have not gotten one- this is unacceptable by all means - none the less the damage is done - the manager is probably still there and customer service is just not customer service these days - and the $60 for 2 pizzas was damn sure not worth it If I could give less then 1...

I placed a delivery order at 3PM it said it would take 31-41 minutes to get here, so I waited and looked on there tracking system and it showed the driver come into my neighborhood so I told my mom and she waited outside. She said no one is here when I get back on the tracker it asked me to rate my delivery experience, so someone else got my order. I called the store and the male who answered said we just received your order 20 minutes ago, how did you receive my order 20 minutes ago when the tracker showed someone headed towards my address and said my order is on it's way? So me and my mom told him no we ordered an hour ago and need a refund or another order.Then he said let me call the driver, by the time he got back on the phone, he said the driver wasn't answering. The guy was so argumentative about when we placed the order and said "we can give you a free pizza yada yada yada but it takes 45 minutes". So we asked to speak with a manager because that was unprofessional. The "manager" gets on the phone and I asked him was he a manager and he said yes and then looked up my order saw we placed it an hour ago and said to give them about 25 minutes then I told him me and mama are already outside the store, then told us oh okay give me 10 minutes. So we said okay and my mom went to the window to wait, then that same "manager" called me back and said I have someone you can speak to. Turns out he wasn't even the manager so he lied to me, and the woman who was the manager told me the delivery guy just came and said he put it in the chairs and a man with a green shirt took it. 1. My daddy doesn't own a green shirt, 2. My mama was the one outside and 3. WE DON'T HAVE CHAIRS ON OUR PORCH! Now the manager was nice and apologetic but the guy just told me 10 minutes now my mama waiting outside for more than 10 minutes and she wanted a refund for the tip of the driver and the delivery fee. She said she couldn't do either once the order is delivered then when my mom got on the phone she was able to refund the tip but not the delivery and said she can give a credit for future delivery and my mom wasn't excepting that considering it's not delivery when we came to pick it up. End Result: We cancelled the entire order and requested a refund because not only was the food delivered somewhere else you had someone lie about being a manager and then didn't even come to the window to talk to us face to face after you found out we were outside you wanted to call back because you got...
Read moreJust moved to the area, ordered online and got this store, waited almost two hours for my food , after the first hour and a half the driver calls me and says “hey I tried to deliver your food but i knocked on the door and no one answered” lol I was sitting outside waiting for them, this never happened. He said well I’ll try again , be right there . 30 minutes later( now 2hrs of waiting) I called the driver back...no answer, i call the store ....turns out my order was voided..., they apologized and said they were really busy. They then gave me a choice:
Wait 2 hours to get my order...or get a credit for my order for next time (I had already been refunded, so I took the free credit).
That was last night, I called just now to claim the order , was hung up on the first time (“oops must have been disconnected” she says when I call back). So now I’ve called and she asks what I want on the pizzas (because apparently they can’t see my previous order...ok that’s fine),
I tell her the Order and then tell her what I want for the drink , I’m informed my credit doesn’t include a drink (at his point I’m laughing inside because of the ridiculousness) so I say ok, just the two pizzas is fine.
So she says “ok have a nice day”
.....
......
I thought she was talking to an in person customer, so I wait...
She says “Hello????” And I say , hi!
She repeats “have a nice day”
And I say uh... how long till it arrives “45 mins to an hour”
Honestly I have zero faith this order will even arrive. Thankfully I’ve ordered this early enough to have a backup plan and it’s not costing me anything this time.
