Runza Restaurant — Restaurant in Gering

First time in Gering and I live in Texas so when I saw a Runza I had to stop (Nebraska native). The food was perfectly cooked tonight! So kudos to the people in the back. The girl up front was friendly and knowledgeable.

You seriously cannot go wrong choosing a Runza, Burger or a salad. The onions rings and fries are incredible. The kids meals are an amazing value as well. They even get a free cone or dish of soft serve. Keep it for next time if they’re full.

We don't live near a Runza, but whenever we drive through a town that has one, we stop there. Their burgers aren't compressed like other fast food places. They are juicy and delicious. Of course, the Runza sandwiches are awesome. We often get a number of them frozen so we can put them in our freezer when we get home. Whenever we need a quick dinner, we just re-heat them. All the stores have excellent service, but the staff at the Alliance, Ne. Store goes above and beyond. Very considerate and friendly. ...

With all the recent rumble about Runza, and finding ourself driving through Nebraska on our vacation, we just had to stop in.

FOOD & DRINK: The eponymous sandwich was quite tasty. The crinkle-cut fries were a bit overdone. The onion rings were cornmeal-coated and okay. Standard fountain drinks, plus special flavored lemonades.

SERVICE: Friendly and fast.

AMBIANCE: This store was very clean, despite the large volume of customers.
