I will take my business to skyline from now on. I used to come here often , like once a wk but each time I came back more and more PURCHASED items weren’t being given in the drive through order, despite very long wait times, (it’s expensive already) so IF I had time I’d have to pull back , go inside only to deal with very rude employees who acted as if I was terrible for asking for what I already purchased. If I wasn’t missing something I was given the wrong item instead. So we stopped buying dinner here. My grandparents love the food so we continued to stop for them when they requested ( still had to deal with the above issues but we wanted them to be happy) This time however we couldn’t pick it up for them so we ordered it online to be delivered to them. They charged my bank account for the total , then it said it didn’t go through, when I tried to find my order details to call someone it charged my account a SECOND time, followed by order not submitted notice. I called Gold star , tried to explain what happened but was interrupted by the gentleman telling me “ yea we don’t have your order”. I told him I ordered from his store specifically and that I had already been charged twice . He chuckled and said well we don’t have the order. When I asked what I should do he very rudely told me to call corporate. Apparently their online ordering for THEIR LOCATION on their locations website is ran by corporate. So despite being charged by THEIR ACTUAL STORE branch ID and everything they wouldn’t help me (technically wouldn’t help a 89 and 93 yr old on fixed incomes). Thankfully I used my card instead of theirs like they wanted , at least I’m out the money and not them. I explained what happened to their food order that’s not being delivered to them and they were beside themselves. I get it’s just fast food but they have no standards, are rude, dismissive, rip you off then laugh at you when u ask for help.
Two very old ppl requested their food for dinner and this is the...
Read moreThe staff was very nice. The front doors, not so much. They constantly bang shut and you can hear it throughout the whole area, so no time to casually rest, while eating.
I wished I had asked how big the coney hotdogs were, when I ordered. For $2.89 each, I thought I was getting regular-sized hot dogs. They are not. They're the size of twinkies. I ended up finishing them within 5min and then heading to my car, to eat potato chips, because the food wasn't fulfilling.
Plus, the doors were giving me a headache. I have an ear issue and didn't expect the doors to be annoying, but did my best to be nice to the cashier, which I tipped. She was needed in multiple areas of the store, due to short staff. They're currently hiring, I don't know if only waitresses, though.
Overall, I spent $5.78 on 2 twinky-sized hotdogs, filled with fluff. Plus taxes to sit in and eat and a tip, totalling $7.45.
The hot dogs were delicious. They just don't give you enough to get full on those little guys. If you eat like a bird or love to eat heavy meals, this might be a good place, but you have to REALLY have the money to do so.
Docked 1 star due to front doors either need fixed or padding to take on the shock around the door frames and not much hotdogs to fill an adult up. Those coney would work for a kids menu though. Fill a kids stomach up...
Read moreWas at the one in Germantown Ohio. They were short handed, which I know those things happen. However, my complaint deals with the waiter. The young man was cleaning tables and there were a lot that needed cleaning. I was watching and when it was time to serve our food, he went from picking up dirty plates and glasses to picking up my food, without washing his hands. They should teach them to wash their hands after cleaning garbage, he brought my drink without washing, I mean come on, should be common sense, it wasn’t. I wanted to tell the manager but she was very frustrated from being short handed, so I didn’t say anything. Maybe corporate should say something. Won’t be going again, just turned me off. I’m sure worse things happen in restaurants, that’s why we stay at home. They should be more careful...
