Super Wok — Restaurant in Germantown

Have tried this place a few times since it's so close and has decent pricing. However the food always tastes a little off. We've never gotten sick and it never smells bad. Doesn't even taste bad. Just slightly off. Very greasy. This time specifically, i got the beef lo mein and some spring rolls, my partner ordered general tso chicken and veggies. And some rangoons. Was disappointed with the overall quality of everything. The spring rolls were dripping with grease when I tried to bite into them. Lo mien was super greasy. The general tso came with like 2 pieces of broccoli and tasted weird. The rangoons are also like 97%cream cheese, huge and over stuffed with cream cheese and onion. As far as cheap Chinese takeout go's, this is not the worst...

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! This was without a doubt THE WORST FOOD I EVER HAD!!! I ordered chicken & rice soup which was loaded up with what I thought was real chicken, not even close!!! the chicken tasted terrible like it was genetically modified!!! OR NOT REAL CHICKEN! But it only got worse after that I also ordered an eggroll....but how can you mess up an eggroll???WELL THEY DID HERE AT SUPER WOK!!!! The eggroll tasted like the cabbage inside was sour!!!Lastly they messed up on my order of roast pork lo mein!!! The pork meat was also sour and the noodles were all overcooked and gummy!!!!So I wasted $20 on lunch that I barely ate!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT...

I just started a job in the area and have been slowly making my way around different lunch spots. Decided to order here.. I got the sweet rolls and the general tso, subbed rice for lomein.

The sweet rolls were good. No complaints.

The general tso was just not it. The breading was very mushy, the sauce was basically a jelly and it had a cleaner taste to it. The lomein was very sticky and el dente.

Overall.. could have been better. Likely...
