This was my second time visiting this establishment and I will not be back! Surprisingly, the problem wasnāt the young employees, but the adult manager (or owner)! I placed an online order for one single coffee drink through Doordash. I scheduled it ahead of time so that I could pick it up on my way to pick up my kiddo from school. I scheduled it for pick up at 1:30pm to ensure it would be ready when I drove through to pick it up at 1:40pm. When I arrived, all the employees were by the drive-thru window and no one acknowledged me. After a few minutes, a woman comes out from the office with a bunch of paperwork in her hand. She says hello and I show her my online order. She types on her computer and tells me it will be right out and begins working with the paperwork at that computer. I stand there waiting, and waiting, and finally ask her if someone is going to bring it out and she tells me that they are making it now. So I sit and watch the girls in the back making multiple beverages, only to watch them be taken over to the drive-thru. At this point I say not to bother making my drink because I had to go pick up my daughter. I pointed out that they were not making my beverage as she said and she snidely replied back that there was a line!! EXACTLY WHY I ORDERED 30 MINUTES AHEAD!!! I have worked in the service industry for over 20 years and I know that stuff happens. I can deal with that. What I canāt deal with is horrible customer service! Not a single apology or acknowledgment that they messed up, AND she was RUDE TO BOOT! She didnāt even have the decency to explain I would have to wait for it to be made!...

We couldnāt reverse because there was already someone behind us. Having the speaker box off hinders the speed of the orders. We sat there for a long time. The guy in the car in front of us either worked there or was friends with the girl working. The chatted for a while then she goes and grabs him an unopened can of something and they chat some more. He didnāt pay for what she gave him which is infuriated to me to waste customers time with nonsense like that. He was driving a white mustang with Minnesota plates. We finally get up there (at around 5:15 pm) and she says the cold brew machine just broke! So we just left without anything and wasted all that time for nothing. We will not be coming here again because these speaker boxes are out a lot and not at just this location also at the Val Vista location. The last time we went into the Val Vista location and went inside (I think it was Sunday at 3:43 pm) two people back there with a line at the drive through and at the counter but one person servicing everyone. I order the same drink EVERY time and frequent blackrock near my home on a daily (Higley and baseline), but this blackrock on Williams field is extremely inconsistent. I donāt think Iāve ever gotten the same drink twice despite ordering the same thing every time. My most current visit, and the reason for my review is the when I went to this location, I ordered a LARGE sugar free mai tai, and PAID for a LARGE sugar free mai tai, however when the barista set it on the counter, it was a medium. I told her thanks but I ordered a large. She said āokā and takes its to the back counter, grabs a large cup, dumps my MEDIUM drink into a large cup and adds ice, and then sets it back on the front counterā¦Iām sorry, I literally PAID for a large and you gave me a watered down medium (by the way, a large is made completely different than a medium.
