First off let me say that Jamba Juice is life!!! I love the people, the atmosphere, and of course the goodness of their products! I mean has Healthly ever looked and taste so good? But unfortunately a couple of days ago I witnessed an incident of a shift Lead verbally abusing an employee and getting all up in her face, with threatening hand gestures.
The other night when I was coming to this location to get my usual, I saw actions of disrespect and harassment happen at the very front of the store by the register. This made me think of a couple of different questions: one, what are the protocols of protecting employees, their customers, and business. (I would know this best because I am a GM for another company.) Second, I have never seen any security cameras located in the store at all, so if something were to happen it's he said she said type of situation. Thirdly, this is not the first time this has happened. Honestly should of wrote a review the first time I witnessed this happen with another employee. (I go to JJ a lot)
So how many chances does a shift lead get? I do not know the man who keeps performing these unprofessional actions but I do know they call him "litto " . I am very concerned for other employees and customers as well. Are these really the kind of people Jamba Juice wants representing the company??
On one last note, I would give this location a 5* but because of the unprofessional behaviors I have witnessed from this manager I am disgusted and will not return until he is removed from the establishment which is really sad because that means I have to drive twice as far if I want my bowl of goodness.
This location really needs to protect itself by protecting its employees and customers.
A happy employee results in the best...
Read moreI've never been to this location, prior to a few minutes ago - it's really nice w/ nice, friendly, understanding staff (I was kinda derpy der, cause I wasn't sure what/where I was supposed to do/stand, to pick up my app order). The storefront is nice & clean w/ 2 little metal tables/chairs, & umbrellas; the inside is small like all shops, but roomy in that, you can walk around, even w/ people standing at the register. It's cool (A/C) inside & not humid, like some other shops. This Jamba Juice is in a nice corner shopping plaza, in the middle of Coffee Rush & Pet Club. Unless you already know it's here, it's nearly impossible to see from the road, however; it's right on the corner of Gilbert & Val Vista.
The JJ app is pretty, cool, & easy to use. I ordered a customized PB & Banana protein smoothie - added chia & pumpkin seeds + blueberries (all pulvarized); very yummy & PURPLE, lol, w/ the extra blueberries. I also ordered their new chia seed pudding, the Berry Berry Coconut option. It was $4.99; it looked quite small at first, in the container, but once I opened to taste it, there's actually a lot of food in there, & HUGE blueberries!!!...& It's quite yummy! Win...
Read moreI am always pleased when visiting this location. All of the team members are great answer with a smile. Not to mention that every smoothie and bowl I ever had was delectably delicious. Update: I'm usually very pleased with Jamba Juice, Unfortunately, during this visit, there was a very testy.Young man working the counter who started to curse and use profound language with the customers due to his frustration of their being a lot of customers there at the same time. The manager tried her hardest to rectify the situation. Not only was the young man unnecessarily rude and disrespectful to the customers he.Also , messed up several orders that delayed the process of people's orders being completed. Several people's drinks were made before other people's orders that had been their first. I ordered an online order so that it would be ready when I got there and had to wait almost 25 minutes for my order. The young lady was very accommodating and tried very hard to fix everything while the young man disappeared in the back and never came out...
