Panda Express — Restaurant in Gilbert

Decent Panda experience, but would suggest they do a better job of keeping items available during busy hours. I've been here twice now and both times they have either been out of my preferred selection or I received the last helping (which can run a little on the cold side). Mind you, this was between 5 and 6pm, which I'd assume would be a busy time for them.

This is a problem simply solved by having the servers on the line recognize that they need to be asking the cooks to fire entrées with only a few servings left. It wasn't until I took the last serving that I heard them ask to fire more. It's also soooo frustrating to be literally at the counter ordering and seeing someone from the drive-thru scoop out the last helping of the item you were going to order. Again, simple recognition of need would solve this issue.

Additionally, management, or whomever is responsible for ordering items, needs to stay on top of having ingredients on hand for popular dishes. I was told they were "out" of the sauce required to make more honey sesame chicken. I was told this after watching the person in front of me take the last portion available 😬 Not a pleasant...

It doesn’t matter what time I go or what day I always have to wait 10 minutes for the black pepper chicken they NEVER have it made. The staff and especially the manager are horrendous and have bad attitude. They want you to just go away. This staff is horrible for the business bottom line. It is more of a hassle than what it’s worth to get food here even though there is NEVER a long line here and I can see why. I wish this wasn’t the only one anywhere near where I live. 10+ mins of wait on Drivethru for a bowl of lomein and teriyaki chicken. Only one guest in the restaurant and one car in front of me. They did not move the car in front of me to wait on the other side of the restaurant. Surely had me wait for their order and slowness. The teriyaki chicken was measly and the bowl was full of lomein.
