My wife and I decided to walk down the street and get a small ice cream while enjoying the cool evening air. I checked the Google listing and the website, a picture of the hours on the website is attached to this review, and all hours indicated that the restaurant was open until 10:00 p.m. We got to the restaurant and the doors were locked and there were two sets of hours on the door. One set of hours said open Sunday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Another, more temporary, set of hours we're also listed on the door that said dining room open 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. My wife and I proceeded to walk through the drive-thru where there were no cars and the woman told us we needed to be in a car to be able to make an order. I told her we walked down to the restaurant because the hours said they were open until 10:00 p.m. and we were trying to enjoy an evening walk and just wanted to order some ice cream. She said they couldn't serve us and the dining room was closed and we needed to be in a car to order through the drive-thru. I then asked her to speak with her manager. The manager also parroted the same remarks. He told us that the dining room was only open until 9:00 p.m. and the drive-thru is open through 10:00 p.m. but we had to be in a car and that they couldn't serve us. I told him I thought it was ridiculous because his Google listing and door said that they had open hours until 10:00 p.m. He then told me he didn't control the Google listing and that his door does not say that they're open until 10:00 p.m. I walked over to the door looked at it again and it did in fact say open Sunday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. I pointed very hard on the door so that the workers inside could hear me pointing on the door. A worker inside flipped me off and then the manager came out looked at the door and then said yes it says we're open 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. but this sign over here says the dining room's only open till 9:00 p.m. . At that point I decided I wasn't going to waste my time arguing anymore and my wife and I walked away. The photos on this review clearly shows that the website for this location states that they are open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Mondays. There is no qualifier at all that it's only the drive-thru. The Google listing also clearly states that they're open 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and it notes the drive thru hours separate from the dine in hours. I suggested if the owner of this location regularly reviews these reviews, he or she takes some steps to better equip their staff and management to handle discrepancies in the information been giving out to the public. All the manager had to do was just say what would you like and if you go to the door will take your payment and hand them out to you while you wait outside. But instead he'd rather get an angry customer and a bad review and have his employees be...
Read moreI’ve given this Culver’s location several chances, but after three messed-up orders, I’m done. I work in Chandler and stop here on my way home via the 202. Twice, I got home to find my order completely wrong. Another time, I received sandwiches with no toppings just plain meat and buns.
The first time this happened, I was told I’d receive coupons, but they never arrived. After yet another wrong order, I let the manager know I didn’t get the coupons, and she told me to come into the store because my name was in a book. When I went in, no one could confirm what was told find, and there was even a note saying not to give out any more coupons. That tracks with the manager said on the phone when they stay at it, they send out any more coupons that I needed to come to the store to get a remake.
The only reason I didn’t come back immediately those times was because I live 25 minutes away. This whole experience has been a waste of time and money.
The staff is fine, but definitely management needs some attention to themselves inward work as well. Now, when I call tomorrow, they’re going to tell me they can’t refund my food that I need to come back for a remake since the system doesn’t allow to...
Read moreStopping at Culver's while we were back visiting Arizona is a MUST for our family! My kids LOVE the cheese curds and we play a fun guessing game if the cheese inside will be white or yellow before they bite into it. They started the game years ago when we lived in AZ and they remembered it on this trip.
Prices have gone up, as they have everywhere. I really like that Culver's lets you use expired coupons, SO HANG ON TO THEM ALL! Ask your neighbors for them! Wish there was a reward program. They offer military discount on top of the coupons too.
This last trip, I got a cheeseburger, which was excellent. My kids had chicken strips, and a spicy chicken sandwich. Everything was excellent. The cheese curds are the best!
We had some custard for dessert. Flavor of the day was a caramel pecan of some type, so we opted for vanilla or chocolate with some toppings. I like that the flavor of the day is listed for the entire month on the website. We used to visit on our favorite flavor of the day!
PS...save your coupons from the kid's meals bag. They come with a free scoop of custard and save the Scoopie tickets for a free kids meal or a ball. I think we have every football, soccer ball, kickball,...
