Went into this port of subs yesterday with my family. We ordered 3 kids meals, one sub meal and one salad meal. First let's start off with the fact that I am a vegetarian (the only one in my family who eats a vegetarian diet) this is why I ordered a salad. The photos show their salad with full lettus Leafs and veggies on to . I was given shredded lettus in a bowl (put in with the same gloves they had been wearing while handling meats) then 3 cucumber slices. 3 tomato slices and like 4 or 5 onion shards all cut into 4ths with the same knife they use to cut meat sandwiches. This cross contaminating my whole meal. If it wasnt for the fact I have food sensitivities to meats, which is why I dont eat meat, I wouldnt make a big deal about it. But after stating I am vegetarian they made no effort to ensure my food had no cross contamination. This was the saddest salad that I have ever seen or eaten. Now on to my kids meals we were given. They only gave us one cup for the 3 meals. Each meal is suppose to have a cup. We mentioned something but the cashier acted like they didnt hear us. So we just had the kids share the drink cause we were just frustrated. We have been to other port of subs that are way better, more friendly staff and even during busy times dont take the lazy way out. Also they were seriously lacking on their toppings. Cucumber, pickles, lettuce, tomato and onions were all...
Read moreThe staff is very nice at this location however this is the cheapest location I've ever been to on a large sandwich they put enough meat for a small sandwich that is not right considering these are not cheap Subs. And to add insult to injury on my large roast beef and provolone sandwich, the meat and cheese were sliced so thin I could see through them and there was only a single layer of them this sandwich was bought to be shared amongst people so once I actually saw the meat that was on it considering I was talking with the person and the same that they had put on more meat than what they actually did, I was sorely disappointed. I drove 10 miles out of my way to get to a Port of Subs near where I was headed in Chandler versus the ones I normally go to in Tempe. In Tempe the Port of Subs put on three layers of meat regardless of the size of the sandwich. This one put on one layer of severely shaved down and thin cuts of meat. I couldn't even taste the meat or the cheese in the sandwich which was the point of going. I will be calling the manager...
Read moreWe just went there to use our Cub Scout coupon book we purchased where Port of Subs had a free 6 inch combo meal and we were treated like complete garbage. Not by the friendly staff, but by the owner himself. A foreign, angry man seemed so put off we were using a coupon (we were also purchasing two additional meals for full price) and said he, “would allow it this one time.” Ummm... Don’t you have to honor it? He put little to no meat on the free sub and for the drink that came with the combo, we were given a tiny water cup. He yelled at his employees for putting paper on the sandwich wrong and only allowed them to then place the veggies on while he monitored the rest. I tipped the young staff since I felt bad they were being treated poorly and were doing a great job. The owner of this location has no business running a business. I don’t be going back to...
