UPDATED: reached out to RR per their comment below and tried again. I've upgraded from 2 to 3 stars but we will not be going back. This time there were no dirty dishes but it was impossible to get what you ordered, drink orders came back with the wrong drinks that were roughly the same color, burgers were missing most of their ingredients, and you had to show the staff the menu to get what was missing and avoid the upcharge for what you already paid for. A pro tip if you eat here and get bottomless anything order a refill ahead of time. You will never be asked for a "bottomless" refill and the fries sit and get cold and soft waiting for the burgers making them taste not great. Ordering a refill gets them out and warm and crispy rather than soft and cold. New photos added of missing ingredients (and burger buns with big thumb indents)
Original below: Red Robin was once a lunch time standard, now it's just dirty and sad. RR was always a great place to grab lunch or for a casual dinner before a movie night, but gone are the days of a good burger joint burger and fries. The first thing we noticed was the caked on yellowish dried something on our silverware, the same thing perhaps we got on the plates that came with out appetizers. The app was the onion ring tower, which effortlessly managed to be undercooked and too greasy (even by burger joint standards) which took almost 30 minutes to come and promptly arrived with our meal rather than before. The burgers were solidly ok, worse then I remember but maybe that is nostalgia, the unforgivable bit was that they swapped the standard dill pickles for sweet pickles making the whole burger a silly sweet mess. The fries were could to the touch (in January), and not fully cooked. It took the entire meal time to get one refill of the "bottomless" fries (2hours) but those were warm at least. The one nice thing was out server Ava who was clearly trying with what she had to work with. Dirty, undercooked, not great food,...
Read moreWe arrived just before 3 there was only one server. We waited 30 mins to be seated without any issue. The server seemed to not be the happiest with us coming in. We tried to order the 10” pizza that was $3 off for happy hour. She allowed us to order one and some how there was only one 10” pizza available. We waited a long time for food. My niece ordered a soda, but was split before she even drank it. The server never came back to get her a new soda, so when she finally came back we asked her to remove the soda so we could get her a root beer float. She never took it off and kept trying to add it to the 2 other checks that were spilt from the original check. My sister-in-laws burger came out soggy since she had broccoli as a side and the water from broccoli soaked into her bread. Then my other niece ordered parm fries but was brought out regular fries and when asked for the right food they were upset about it. Then when ordering more French fries the sweet potato fries came out soggy, undercooked, sooooo grease. It took a long time to get a refill on our drinks. My nephew, who is 9, order a cheeseburger while holding a kids menu but didn’t specify that he wanted a kids cheeseburger so he was brought out an adult cheeseburger. Then the manager said it was our fault for not saying we wanted the kids cheeseburger and was very rude and refused to fix the mistake the server made. We weren’t asking for anything to be free, we were asking to be treated right. I know we were a big party and came in right before the server was going to leave and we asked for things to be done, but it wasn’t out of the ordinary. We had to experience awful treatment from your company. We don’t normally eat at this location, but we go to a different location that we have great...
Read moreFirst i would like to state that I appreciate the restraunt updating google to show the adjusted hours. However, this does not excuse the staff from being so rude.
I saw online that the restraunt was going to close in about an hour. So I decided to be courteous of them and called ahead to inform them that my family just got out of s school musical and the young lady that preformed wanted to celebrate her first musical preformance at Red Robins for dinner. There was about 10 of us in our group and called to inform them so that they could prepair since they dont take reservations. The staff was rude o the phone stating 10 people was a large group and that they close in an hour, it felt as if i was a pest for being nice and warning them ahead of time.
Upon arival at 7:06pm our group was told we would not be seated due to staffing issues. I understand staffing is hard right now and informed them that we were patient and willing to wait on slower service and even longer waits, we just wanted to make the you lady feel special and she picked Red Robin for her favorite restraunt.
The host was very rude, using a sharp and pointed tone with us and then even roll her eyes at us when our requests were polite and resonable. When I asked to speak with the manager the host expressed "we are just doing our jobs" which i noted as understood abd waited for requested manager. Dominick the manager came and stated that they close the kitchens at 7:35pm, which by this time was now 7:09pm, to give the kitchen staff a break. I pointed out that it was 20mins from then and we could easily order our food fast enough to allow the kitchens to still close at the time they specificed. Then even the manager started to get rude and our family decided to...
