This location is just ridiculous. No one is perfect but after 3 incidents, I am willing to drive to another location out of the way just so I can get decent service. The first incident I ordered my tea the way I always have for the last 50 years. Green tea, no classic which means no sweetener. Got my drink and there was sweetener in it. After I politely let the guy know he wanted to argue with me and tell me I ordered it wrong and needed to say "no syrup." I let him know I always order it that way and it comes out right. He continued to argue with me instead of just fixing the drink. Moving on...
The second incident: I ordered a violet drink, which I had the day before at another Starbucks for the first time. When I received the drink I noticed it was pink which did not bother me as long as it tasted like it did the day before. It did not taste the same. I could tell it was the pink drink made with Strawberry refresher instead of the Berry Hibiscus and it had dried strawberries in it instead of blackberries. I went in to exchange it and the barista proceeded to argue with me and school me on what a Lilac drink is. I told her I know what it is because I had it the day before and they put Strawberries in it which most likely indicates it is not a Blackberry drink. She the proceeded to argue with me and make me ANOTHER pink drink with Strawberries ...awesome.
Last and final visit. Went inside ordered a tea and a loaf. Asked if the barista could load $10 on my card first. She rang up everything and THEN added the $10 on my card. I asked her if she could load the $10 first and then charge for the items, which she assured me she did. I let her know that it was going to ring up $16 because she added the items as well as the $10 load. She of course did not understand anything I was saying had to refund my card and then could not figure out how to load it so I had to just forego getting my points.
Its rare I waste my time complaining but these people really need to get...
Read moreNot only was I a barista, but I also was a shift supervisor after I transferred from this store. I did not wanna say anything until after I left the company.
From a customer experience I was a customer there before I transferred to the store. The shift supervisor, Armida, was very rude not only to me but also my mother who would be afraid to come to work and visit me because of her.
Their stores were full of dust and the place was filthy. Even moving to a new drive thru they still fail to keep their lobby clean.
Now when I visit in the drive thru their baristas all run around looking panicked, untrained, and are still very rude with lack of customer connection.
From employee experience The manager, Ilana, is very sexist and treats her employees very poorly. On my way to work from my dad's final court hearing (finding out he got 10 years in prison) I call and hour ahead telling her I may be 5 minutes late but just to be safe. Instead of asking anything about my dad or the case I get lectured with "You should have told me ahead of time." At that store, Ilana sees her co-workers as profit. Not people.
Her shift supervisors were dating for several months longer than I arrived. From what everyone else told me Ilana knew but looked the other way. For someone who brags about being "on top of standards" she let a huge violation pass through that store.
Her employees and other who have worked with her will complain about how sexist she is towards males.
I am glad I left that store and was able to enjoy...
Read moreSuper rude. The drive thru was so long I ordered on my phone and walked in. I ordered a drink and food. It was very busy. Not one employee was easy to talk to. Many people had to stand at the end to try and talk to someone and many times they had to almost yell at the person to get them to answer them. My food came out and the person said "Mary your food ready" my name not Mary to I sat there waiting. My drink came, I sat there waiting. More food came out and I was like what going on?? I stand there waiting for someone to talk to me and no one looks at me. I was not looking at my phone or any papers. I was looking at them. Finally I had to almost yell excuse me multiple time fore one person lifted their head up. I explained I been waiting for my food and never got it. I kid you not she gave me a "are you stupid" look and said in a rude voice, "is that your order sitting there? Check the name" I have never been spoken like a child at any Starbucks but this one. There was my food order sitting there. It is crazy how rude...
