Stop.....if you read this keep reading. You will see how my opinion drastically changed
STOLEN MOTORIZED BIKE- Hours after I wrote the original review I received a phone call...from my wife. My custom motorized bike had been stolen. I had locked right outside of the front door/lobby. 4 high security Krypton cables and a huge Krypton "U" lock had been cut off, this took a long time. To my surprise, the hotel staff simply did not care. I told them to have the manager call me asap. Some time after 4pm, 6 hours later...I found him. He confirmed he got the message, but then blew me off. Nothing. This is only the beginning......
USED HEROIN SYRINGES - laying on ground around hotel - hotel staff not cleaning up after being told about.
HEROIN JUNKIE - guest today, sleeping behind dumpster tommorow. The next day, while NOT CHECKED IN AS GUEST he was found to be sleeping on couch in front of lobby desk.....
HOMELESS - a new homeless person (female with huge dog) sleeping in West stairwell after being paying guest the day before......
JUNKIES & MORE JUNKIES - hanging around with the one mentioned above.
MESA POLICE IN PARKING LOT AT NIGHT - about 3 nights a week they would sit in parking lot and pull people over who leave after 10 pm. Just to search cars if allowed. I am usually against this type of action, but there is a need for it here. This hotel is not cheap or in a bad section of town. Too many junkies.
DRUGS - POLICE SEARCH WARRANT RAIDS- I witnessed two undercover raids while I was there.......the hotel staff did not seem to be upset, like this is normal.
BEDBUGS - The final straw. We noticed that the owner was running large heaters and fans in 4 rooms at a time for 24 hours each at a time. Noticed this because of all the taped extension cords in hallway and them blowing the breakers all the time.
High prices and dubious accounting- I stayed long term and they were constantly having to credit me for over charging/double charging me and my wife. ( I am a Wyndham Diamond member ) just too much for accidents....
VETERAN OVERCHARGE- I am a combat veteran. I found out that I was being over charged by 5 to 8 percent every day on veterans rate. Basically lied to. (Overheard this girl getting a better rate at counter...she was staying there while pregnant, one day she gave birth, later no baby. (They either took it or she gave it up) you decide. Never much cared for her, she never picked up her dogs doo-doo.
DO NOT STAY HERE- READ BELOW FOR MY INITIAL REVIEW........sleep in your car if no other choice
This is a first impression see final opinion above - do not stay here! Best place I have stayed at! The staff is really fantastic, the rooms are large, clean and furnished nicely. The parking lot is clean and well lit and your vehicle is safe. Staff watches the security cameras so no bad things happen. Near freeway and food. Clean pool and Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi is super clean and heated. Free breakfast, waffles, toast, cereal, coffee, Apple and Orange juice, muffins. Don't waste your time at motel 6, this hotel is much nicer and the...
Read moreThe word horrendous is an understatement compared to the reality of Super 8. If I could rate anything lower than 1 star, this hotel would be a -5. When we first drove into their parking lot, we were met with lingering stares that followed us as we walked into the lobby to check in. Inside the lobby, the floor tiles were sticky and corners were filled with dirt. It seemed as there was only one person working at the time. The elevators did not work and we had to climb the stairs with our luggage. Along with that, a person was smoking while sitting on the stairs and was talking about taking a drug test in the morning. Despite the labels that clearly displayed “No Smoking”, rooms were bursting with strong, pungent odors that filtrated through the whole hotel. When we entered our room, it looked nothing like the pictures we had seen online. Instead of being greeted with a comfy sofa bed in the entry way, a stained foldable sofa sat there like it was not cleaned in years. The couch was covered in dirt and it was obvious that it had not been wiped, dusted, or cleaned whatsoever in a long time. The rolling office chair was covered in holes like it was recovered from a garage sale. There were insect stains all over the floor and an unidentifiable insect carcass on the ceiling where the lights did not work. Just one wiping motion on a table ended in a brown, dirt-filled waste. While we were wiping the TV remote, we found the batteries uncovered and held together by a piece of tape. The kitchen looked like it was abandoned and left unclean for months. The “clean”, decorated bed sheets on top of the bed had stains all over them. Additionally, the fire alarm did not have any batteries. The bathroom itself was another disgraceful sight. Just looking out the window, we could see our car, the green, murky, bean-shaped pool, a small hot tub, and a lot of people smoking outside. We hurried to find a different room as the temporary housing conditions were overwhelmingly horrifying. For anyone interested in the fast and easy way to reserve a room for this hotel, do not be fooled. The pictures are nothing as it seems and it is not worth a single night in anyone’s life. If this hotel is really part of Wyndham, it definitely does not live up to the...
Read moreStraight Trash!!! I booked a 3 night stay, and checked in around midnight on a rainy night. No working elevator, and lots of activity in front of the hotel. I figured I'd better unload my tools, so I'd still have them in the morning. They put me on the 3rd floor and gouged me on the rooms. Nowhere near worth the almost $200 a night. So up and down the stairs I go , multiple trips. Finally get cleaned up and lay in bed. First thing I noticed was the bed was wet. Roof was leaking like crazy, I was too tired to deal with it and rolled over to edge of the bed on the other side. The next morning, I let the manager know, and he offers to move me to another room. I had an appointment, let him know I could be back in an hour to move rooms. He insisted that housekeeping would move my things to the new room. When I returned, the woman at the front desk knew nothing about my room being moved, and showed that I had checked out. It took a while but we found the new room and my things. Of course not all of my things were moved , and they lost some things I had in the room. That evening when I was getting ready to turn in I noticed water all over the floor. It appeared to he coming from the refrigerator, I let the front desk know and didn't hear another word about it. After a sleepless night I decided to sleep in. The following morning at about 7:30 am housekeeping is banging on the door, I open and tell her to come back after noon. Less than an hour later she's knocking again, I tell her to cancel housekeeping for today. Not 15 minutes later a lady is banging on the door telling me it is time to check . This Is day 2 of a 3 night stay. I tell her my check out day is tomorrow, she informed me they are sold out and she has me due to check out. I tell her I'll be down at the front desk in a few minutes, she tells me she Is the front desk and they have me checking out. I give up grab my things and head downstairs. On the way out I ask for my receipt, and to speak to the GM. She let's me know GM is out and she can't give me a phone number. Tells me to send an email. Naturally no reply to the...
