Pizza Ranch — Restaurant in Gillette

Horrible! Buffet style. 8 pizzas to choose from and not a cheese or pepperoni was one of the portions. Fried chicken on the other buffet and they served RAW chicken. First piece was very bloody, so I took it back and they acted like no big deal. I got an apology so I was okay. Second piece, bloody, this time my daughter took it back and they claimed that it had a big vein. So we explained that this is the second piece like this and even dissected it to show the blood throughout the entire chicken, btw, it was a thigh and then a leg. The manager took it and didn't say anything. A few minutes later, she brings a plate of chicken to our table and the chicken was cooked perfect. Not burnt and not bloody. Manager apologized but at this time, I'm not wanting anymore chicken. Manager never offered anything else to compensate for the ordeal that took place. Because along with the chicken ordeal, we were the talk of the restaurant amongst the employees and we could clearly hear them. My daughter made a comment to a few of them. This place is for sure a place we won't return to. Update: A manager responded with her not having knowledge....of course. So for your knowledge, my daughter did ask if a cheese pizza was going to be made and the counter girl said that one would be put out shortly, it took more then 25 mins to put one out so we made the kids choose other foods. The chicken "ordeal", you acted like it was no big deal the first time and I did the same but the second time, you, the manager, had an attitude because here we are again with uncooked chicken and you, the manager, blamed it on the "vein" in the chicken, but it was a leg that was uncooked. You tried to cover up your cooks wrong doing of not cooking the chicken long enough and my daughter wasn't buying it so she had an attitude back with you. And you can blame my daughter's language for not compensating the second time but what about the first? When I was calm about it? I didn't curse or have an attitude? Even with my daughter's attitude, your cook didn't cook it long enough and you were in the wrong from the beginning. By you bringing a plate of chicken, that we didn't ask for to begin with, and it was cooked perfect, proved that your cook was wrong. Maybe you need to educate your cook on the importance of cooking chicken before someone ends up in the hospital. This Pizza Ranch is absolutely disgusting and should be ashamed to even keep its doors open. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with filth, laziness, and neglect. The buffet looked like it hadn’t been stocked or cleaned in hours. What little food was out was old, dried, and barely edible. The pizza looked like it had been sitting there all day, the chicken was greasy and cold, and the salad bar was literally crawling with flies. That isn’t just unappetizing — it’s a public health hazard. The soda was flat, and when I told the assistant manager, they brushed it off like it didn’t matter. That kind of careless attitude shows exactly why this location is in the state it’s in. The staff doesn’t care, the management is useless, and the entire operation is an embarrassment to the Pizza Ranch name. I’ve been to many Pizza Ranches around the country, and this one is by far the absolute worst. It’s insulting that they think customers should pay to eat here. The food is a joke, the service is nonexistent, and the entire place reeks of neglect. If this is how they run things on a daily basis, then the people in charge have no business being in the restaurant industry. They clearly don’t care about cleanliness, food quality, or customer service. This location is a disgrace and should be shut down until someone competent takes over. This Pizza Ranch is an absolute embarrassment and a health hazard. The place was filthy from the moment I walked in. The buffet looked like it hadn’t been stocked or cleaned in hours there was hardly any pizza to choose from, and what little was out looked old, dried out, and unappetizing. The salad bar was crawling with flies, which is beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable. The soda was flat, and when I bothered to tell the assistant manager, they brushed it off like it didn’t matter. That kind of attitude shows just how little the management here cares about customers or the restaurant’s reputation. I’ve been to many Pizza Ranch locations across the country, and this is by far the worst one I have ever seen. The staff is careless, the food is a joke, and the management is useless.
