AVA Community Art Center — Attraction in Gillette

Loved it! The exhibits were in the middle of being changed over. So we got the benefit of seeing two different shows. The curator (?) Walked is through the gallery and gave us great information on the artists, who are members of the local community. AVA also has a great outreach and education program. Okay, those who are giving poor reviews, may have had their qualms, but they're wrong. Ava is a precious gem in a coal-dusty town. While they may have short hours, they do have classes after six (thus an opportunity to look at the art) you just have to inquire.
