What a great place! 100% diner feel and food. We walked in to a diner full of people laughing and enjoying themselves. The waitress asked us how many and proceeded to let us know that it would be a little bit, 5-10 minutes but she would come get us. We waited less than 5 minutes and got sat, drinks ordered immediately. There was a table of elderly locals that were all enjoying themselves, adding more as they came in, filling the open chairs in their corner table. Reminded me of the diner my grandparents brought us to as kids. A unforgettable atmosphere. The waitress was bustling around, working hard, but still maintained her friendly composure as she worked a packed diner. We placed our order and received our food in such a short amount of time. The breakfast food was delicious and filled that homemade desire we had been looking for. My husband and I had an absolutely horrible experience here, and we didn’t even get to sit down and order. We walked in to an overly crowded, claustrophobic restaurant. A waitress shouted at as from the other side of the restaurant asking us how many people in our party. She shouted that the wait to be seated is going to be a long time, we were not given an estimate. We walked over and asked if we could place a to go order, as that was our plan from the beginning. She replied that ordering to go would be an even longer wait as they serve the people eating in the restaurant first. She said this in such a rude and condescending voice for absolutely no reason. She asked if we would like to wait, and I told her absolutely not. She then proceeded to scoff at me. The service here is absolutely terrible, and after that interaction we will never be back. This is my first review I’ve ever felt like I had to write. I came in today for a quick stop on the way back from a. My server today was named macei. The food and pie was DELICIOUS, but the service truly stood out. I was waited on almost instantly despite how busy they were. I was greeted with a smile that stayed on my entire meal. The conversation flew with her and she made sure all of her customers were taken care of. She gave me wonderful recommendations, that were all tasty. I even had another set of customers tell me she was their favorite server and they only came in on Monday’s to see her.
