Pueblo Real — Restaurant in Girard Township

Went here with my sister and two cousins. It was a first visit for all of us. The food was really good. I got the build your own combo with one enchilada with red sauce, one burrito, and one Chile's rellano. They were all just ok. One cousin got the shrimp quesadilla. Holy cow did that look good and it was huge! She said it was delicious. My sister got the steak fajitas. Again, holy cow! She had a pile of steak on her plate. I plan on returning at least twice to try both of these. We all got dessert. I got flan, which is the best I ever tasted. My cousin and sister both got the churros (picture posted)again, Wow! My other cousin got the dulce de Leche cheese cake. All the desserts were incredible. Our waiter was Gabriel. He was very attentive and very sweet. He did a great job. Service is very fast. Very clean. Fast, polite and attentive service. The menu was HUGE so I assumed the food would be mediocre like one of those diners they serve everything in the world. My assumptions were proved to be very wrong. Everything we ordered was exceptionally good. My wife ordered Vallarta Especial which is a half pineapple filled with grilled chicken, steak and shrimp with peppers, onions and, of course pineapple. It came with tortillas and six small sides like fajitas usually do. It was amazing! I had a tomale and the Fajitas Jalisco which was the best I have ever enjoyed. My daughter got shrimp tacos and my mother in law ordered a burrito. They both raved about how good they were. First time trying Pueblo Real, and I’m officially hooked! I had heard so many great things about this place, and I’m happy to say that it absolutely lives up to the hype. The menu is full of tempting options, but one thing you have to try is the queso fundido ,a rich, cheesy chorizo dip that pairs perfectly with their warm chips. As a bonus, they serve complimentary fresh salsa and coleslaw that are both fresh and flavorful.

I went with the carnitas, and wow, perfectly seasoned, fall-apart tender. And if you're into drinks, don’t leave without trying the Margarita Sampler. It’s a flight of four mini margaritas, each with its own twist, fun, flavorful, and just the right size to try a few without overdoing it.
