Arlington Taphouse & Food Carts — Restaurant in Gladstone

The food from two carts was absolutely outstanding. The interior seating area is a loud cavernous echoing environment, if that best describes it. Therefore the staff is talking loud to each other, loud to customers at the bar, I had to talk loud to my friend across the table be heard over the others. It’ll likely be overwhelmingly loud when the place is crowded. You will have no quiet conversation with your company at your table. We were there at 2:30 PM, seated at a table eating our food. Around us a guy was sweeping the floor. He walks up to us with the broom at chest height, asking how the food was. I’m thinking, get that broom away from my food! The rug delivery takes place during our meal. That guy cruises by the table with a box of linens and a rug hanging over. He brings out the new rug, folds up the old and shakes the new one out. Two flys wouldn’t leave us alone. One on the food, one landing on us. What time do they open? Couldn’t they take care of the sweeping and dust pans and exchanging rugs earlier, when people aren’t in there eating? A beehive of activity....

So excited that Arlington Taphouse just opened in Gladstone this June! It’s great to finally have a local brewery with a food cart option in the neighborhood. I stopped by recently to check it out and had a cider, which was refreshing and delicious. I had already eaten dinner, so I didn’t try anything from the food cart this time but I heard great things from others who did.

Exactly what Gladstone has needed!! A friendly neighborhood spot to get great food and drinks in a comfortable and modern atmosphere. This spot has TV’s on every wall with various sports to view. Love the art- especially in the bathrooms. 😂 Great selection of food amongst the carts, yet my heart will always belong to Masala Box next door. That’s an added bonus.
