I’ve been a regular at Crown Fried Chicken & Gyro for late-night meals, and it’s usually been a reliable spot for affordable, tasty food. However, my visit after midnight on June 3 (12.10 am) was a complete letdown and, frankly, the worst experience I’ve had here. I ordered the chicken over rice (no salad), and after waiting 10-15 minutes as promised, I was hopeful for the usual satisfying meal. But as soon as I started eating in my car, I noticed the rice was sticky and had an off-putting smell, clearly spoiled. Thinking maybe it was just a one-off, I took a couple of bites, but it was undeniable—the food was bad. I went back inside to address this with the guy at the front register, hoping for a resolution. Instead, he laughed it off, insisted the food was “fresh,” and practically forced me to keep eating it. I explained that I’ve eaten here many times and know what good food tastes like, but he was reckless, kept laughing, and showed a dismissive attitude. It felt disrespectful, especially since I paid for the meal around $14 and got nothing edible in return , I didn’t ask them for money I said I need replacement but they denied . His behavior, telling me to “tone down” my attitude when I was rightfully upset, made the situation worse. I left the food there and walked out, completely frustrated. This experience has soured me on Crown Fried Chicken & Gyro. The food quality was unacceptable for this time ( all the time it’s good for me ), unprofessional response made it even...

The man gives me my order and I check this time if I got everything and of course something was missing, my dessert. When I ask for it he says oh and looks at his screen to double check. I also noticed I was given two ketchup no hot sauce or anything even though last time I also ordered chicken and got hot sauce. Inconsistencies I went to eat the chicken and the outside was burnt and oily, while inside was lukewarm. This was clearly old chicken that was refried for one minute to pretend it was fresh. The cheesesteak beef was slightly burned and salty....

I had a choice between this one and Popeyes so I chose crown because it was a local restaurant. This choice was a huge mistake...the rice and beans had a total of 5 beans, a weird weird flavor and was overcooked (didn't even finish it). The chicken wasn't breaded well so it didn't have a good crunch, no seasoning or herbs just s and it was dry. To make matters worst they gave me two old dry dinner rolls that crumbled in my hands when I tried to split them in half. I didn't think anyone could mess up fried chicken...boy was...
