Although it's called "the Grill" the food is more restaurant quality. There are some characteristics of a standard grill like a counter for individuals in a hurry, a grill behind the counter where the cooks are creating some of the meals, and a very friendly and professional wait staff. However, you're in for a surprise when you're presented with an order that would be worthy of a casual but upscale restaurant. I like the variety of dishes which should satisfy anyone's dining choices, but where they excel is in the specials that they have. Not just a few items that get rotated on and off the menu, but some really creative combinations that keep you wanting to come back and see what they have in store for you this time.

For groups or couples, Monday and Tuesday you can get two entrees for a discounted price which also includes soup or salad, and desert. I'm usually full after the meal, and they are glad to box up the desert so you can take it with you.

For wine lovers, they have a special on Thursdays when bottles of wine are half-price. My wine loving friend insists on going there on Thursdays.

I'd recommend that you ask your wait person if you're unsure about one of the menu choices. One evening they were offering a chicken curry and apply soup, which sounded intriguing but I was concerned that it might be too much curry for my taste. Our server assured us that the curry was just a touch for flavor and not at all overpowering. She said that a lot of people seemed to shy away from it because of the curry. We took her advice and gave it a try. It ended up being one of the best soups I've ever had. The curry was very subtle and just added to the overall flavor. I enjoyed it so much, I asked if I could have a cup of it to go instead of my desert. I can't wait for them to bring...

Backstory....We are from Washington State and flew out to visit a long time friend that is battling lots of cancer in her body. We got here last night and are leaving at 630am tomorrow.

Why you should come here...

Staff greeted us an hour before closing and seated us. We were super tired from travel and helping do things for our friend while she takes on this major battle. Anyway....

They had a 2 for $42 3 course dinner. Starts with soup or salad. (I had the amazing french onion soup) along with fresh rolls, corn bread and honey butter.

My main course was the meatloaf dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and my friend had a white sauce pasta bowl with shrimp that I just can't do justice explaining how good it was or what all was in it.

We finished that and placed an order to go for our friend back at the hospital who wasn't allowed to eat all day due to some testing and MRI tonight around 5pm. We also picked up dinner for another friend who was sleeping in the room with our friend.

When the staff found out why we were in town, where we were from and knowing that we prob would not be back this way again, they gave us to go some of the full size portions of the best cheesecake ever, German chocolate cake, some togo drinks, along with a 4 pack of their homemade pumpkin muffins for our early breakfast tomorrow. The people there were so genuinely nice to us out of town folks and the comfort food was simply the best. We were pretty exhausted from travel and helping our friend get some end of life preparations done today, that this out of the blue and over the top great service, was just what we needed to recharge a little! I wish they would pick up and move out our way!

Thank you staff and manager for making us...

Every Bite Better Than the Last! 🍽️

After the mind-blowing fried green tomato shrimp bruschetta, we moved on to our entrées and let me tell you, The Grill did not come to play. I ordered the meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, while my guest went with the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. First of all, I’ve tried meatloaf from all over the DMV, and I’ve never had anything like this. It was so moist, so flavorful it literally melted in my mouth. The gravy? On point. The potatoes? Creamy, buttery, smooth no lumps at all and the skins were still in there, which gave it such a nice texture. I love garlic, and although I wish it had just a touch more, the flavor was still chef’s kiss. Everything on that plate worked perfectly together. I genuinely wanted to order the whole menu just to see what other magic the kitchen was hiding. My husband was just as impressed. He couldn’t stop raving about the chicken fried steak crispy, juicy, and hands down the best he’s ever had in Maryland. Every bite was better than the last. And let’s not forget the drinks because yes, I kept the mojitos coming. Courtney, our amazing server, had them flowing left and right. At one point, she ran out of mint for the mojito, but you know what? I wasn’t even mad. That’s how good the drink was. It still tasted incredible. The balance between the liquor, the fruit, the hint of acidity, and the mint (when available) was absolutely perfect. By the end of the meal, I was planning my next visit. I’ve made it my mission to come back every week and try a new dish, because if everything else is as good as what we had? Then The Grill might just be my new favorite...

Great food at The Grill!! As out-of-towners visiting family at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, we we're looking for a good place to eat. The Grill turned up as a likely candidate - and, boy, did it deliver! I started off with the wonderfully flavorful Spiced Tea recommended by our exceptional waitress, Jess. A Grill specialty, it features brewed black tea, lemonade, orange juice, cinnamon and cloves. I got to try it both hot and iced, and it was delicious both ways. For lunch I had another Grill specialty: Sesame Chicken with Plum Sauce. I upgraded to the Quarterfield Salad, and both items were exceptional. The chicken is encrusted with sesame and Japanese bread crumbs and topped with plum sauce. The salad consisted of mixed greens, candied pecans, Gorgonzola cheese and topped with a maple vinaigrette. My husband opted for the Cubano Sandwich and seasoned fries, and he was no less satisfied. The sandwich had maple ham, Gruyere cheese, thinly sliced dill pickles, Chipotle mayo on ciabatta bread. While we were both completely satisfied, it's impossible to pass the amazing pastry case coming in without wanting to try at least one before going out. After choosing among options like Apple Strudel and Vanilla Cheesecakes and Decadent Chocolate and Red Velvet Cakes, I opted for White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. It, also, was terrific. While I hope that we never again have reason to visit the hospital, the Grill may be reason enough to come back to Glen Burnie. Featuring a stylish, comfortable ambiance, 1st class, knowledgeable staff, and awesome food, it's worth the trip.

Had the opportunity to pop into The Grill at Quarterfield Station on Sunday. It was a modern time blast from the past. I loved the cozy decor, paintings and atmosphere. They did an amazing job on keeping if vintage and modern at the same tine. The brunch menu had some of the sweetest treats all the way down to the savory toothsome carnivore lover items. My husband got the Build Your Own Omelette with Chorizo, Gouda, and Bacon.... It was the best damn omelette I have every had. They have delicious red potato hash browns - cube style. I got the Banana Foster French Toast and Turkey Sausage with all the sweetness on the side and it was amazing. Decadent, sweet, comforting and beautifully plated. I LOVE the way they serve their creamer in a chilled metal ladle - it's annoying to have to peel open creamer cups at a restaurant. My only recommendation would be that the kitchen manager conduct a review of the way food is being plated because something is obviously off. My husband's plate was chilled and the potatoes were not hot, but the omelette was a million degrees and the grits were room temperature. Same with my plate, it was chilled. French toast wasn't all that hot, but the banana foster and rum sauce was cooking in Dante's Inferno. So I'm not sure if it was a heating lamp issue or a plating issue. Also, our waitress, Kate, was amazing. She was super nice, attentive and bubbly. Overall, very delicious and looking forward to coming back.

My husband and I went here for breakfast for the first time today. When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised with how large the space was. It did not look this large from the outside. The restaurant had a very cool vibe and was very warm and inviting. We were sat promptly upon arriving. Our waitress, Laney, came over to introduce herself and take our drink order only moment later. When Laney returned to get our order, I asked her a few questions and she was very nice and helpful giving me a great deal of information to help me make my decision. I ordered the Belgian waffle with bananas and chocolate chips. My husband ordered the chicken and waffle with a side of eggs, sunny side up, and home fries. My portion was huge. My only disappointment was that the Belgian waffle was soft. I tend to like my Belgian waffle crispy. So, next time I will definitely have to ask to have them cook it a little longer. My husband felt the same way about his waffle. He also thought there could be a little more sausage gravy on his food. However, like me, he was pleased with the overall taste of the meal. We will definitely return because there’s plenty of other items on the menu that we want to try If you’re looking for a cool place with a very expensive menu and some great breakfast items, I have a recommend you give this restaurant a try!
