Quarterfield Crossing Shopping Center — Local services in Glen Burnie

Let's just say this whole cluster of shops and Big Box stores is a HUGE cluster**! The best time to shop at Walmart without getting barrelled by some A-hole driver cutting you off or not paying attention to the road is after 10pm. Otherwise, it's a crapshoot! There is plenty of parking, though, don't get me wrong. I dread coming this way during the weekend or any afternoon after 2:30 pm. Lowe's and Sam's Club are nice draws away from Walmart and are down at the end of the roundabout where I drive round and round on occasion just to make people second guess their next move. Also, I was doing this to make sure my tires gripped well enough so I could learn to drift. Just kidding. I just made all of that up. Anyway, the redeeming quality of this shopping center is that each big box store has it's own parking lot that is separate from the other. This way you're going to the parking lot in front of the store you want to enter. The roads are paved well and there aren't potholes. One scary spot to pull out of Walmart is pulling out towards Sam's Club gas to get onto George Clauss Blvd without getting broadsided by oncoming traffic from either direction. It doesn't help that that pull out from Walmart is on a relatively steep grade for a parking lot. In my car, I have to put the e-brake on (since I drive stick) so gravity doesn't bump me into the A-hole pulled up to close to me. The staff here are always super nice. The store is large and I find their prices lower than the orange store. Good selection of plants and trees.

UPDATE May 2022: This is the second time I have used the kitchen design and purchasing services at this store and let me say their designers are the best. Christine Foley is THE BEST kitchen designer I have worked with (and I’ve worked with approximately 5 designers so far). Christine really takes the time to get to know you and your preferences and goes out of her way to show you your options, which is so important when spending such a large amount of money on something that cannot be easily changed after the fact. I highly recommend Lowe’s for kitchen design and cabinet purchases for their convenience and excellent designers. The only recommendation I have for Lowe’s in this regard is to train your designers to be able to help the customer coordinate purchases of appliances, especially in-cabinet microwaves and trim kits, to make the process easier on...

Can't even give it a 1. Worst experience. Purchased brand new LG large capacity washer, $ 1,499.00. Special order, didn't receive until a week after we ordered. Upon arrival, washer was severely damaged. Unit went back for a new unit which would be another week. As we received the loner unit after washing clothes the same day the unit was defective and damaged the roof in our gsrage. Called Lowe's repeatedly for a manager and never received a call back. Very poor customer service for major situation. Took 3 weeks before they sent a insurance adjuster out to assess the damages. Was given a loner and gaurentee we would receive the day before Easter, another store showed one. After changing our Easter plans, 3 days later no washer, no phone call.
