There is lots to love about this store. First-Michael. He is a lovely human who is really dedicated to helping his clients look and feel beautiful. There are almost three distinct stores within Gnome Colony, the sells clothing, jewelry, accessories, and household decorations. Lots of beautiful things at reasonable price points. Plus, if you purchase over $50 in goods, you may choose earrings, ring or bracelet to go with your order. That is lots of fun and feels like a treat each time. I've purchased things for family and friends ranging in age from 21 to 88 and all of the women have loved their gifts. The second category of merchandise is the scents. And, while I am not a scent person myself, my family loves what he has produced. Finally there is Perich Cosmetics, Michael's make up line, which is sold on line and in store. (This is the man who successfully ran Camp Cosmetics for decades.) The make up is terrific. The skin f/x combined with second skin dual foundation is amazing. My husband of 40 years has stopped me four times in the past three weeks and out of the blue said, " Wow, that make up from Michael is terrific. You look radiant! Not that you don't always look radiant, but this is really radiant. " This is from the man who does not like it when I wear make up. The make up is easy to use. A couple of dabs (literally) of skin f/x, brush of second skin, dab of blush, swipe of mascara and a touch of the lip glistens and the day is set well into the evening. I am finished in five minutes tops. The lip glistens need to be touched up twice a day if you are going into the evening, but they have long staying power. I love this store as do many of the women in our family. Give yourself a treat...

I encourage you to STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO see Michael at The Gnome Colony. Yes... stop reading this and go. Your hair's a mess and your makeup isn't done?! Who cares! Michael certainly won't. In fact, he'll make sure you walk out looking better than you did when you walked in - even if it's just because you spent time with him and are glowing in the aftermath. Reviews can't put into words what The Gnome Colony is as an EXPERIENCE. Words can't tell you how Michael makes you feel. Words can't tell you that you haven't [yet] realized you need the perfect bracelet/sweater/earrings/necklace/centerpiece/room spray/pillow/lotion you didn't even know existed. Words can't tell you how his make up makes your skin look and feel. Words can't tell you that his fragrances will smell different on every single person and that you'll fall in love with at least one of them. Words can't tell you how he can melt the stress of the day away just by being with him. And words certainly can't tell you what a gift he is and how lucky we are to have him in our community. And they most definitely won't tell you that you simply won't be the same person you were when you walked in. Now go... and bring a friend (or several) and experience him and all of his treasures for yourself. You won't...

Magical and whimsical

My best friend had been telling me about Gnome Colony for awhile so I finally finally went. It was a stormy Saturday afternoon when we arrived. After being poured on a bit walking from the car we entered this beautiful space. It really takes you out of your element. You feel like you stepped into a mythical fairy world with all different types of treasures to discover. I highly recommend if you're having a bad day just walk in there. Almost instantly it will brighten your mood with all the trinkets and beauty surrounding you. I was overwhelmed but in the best way by everything in the store. We were given a warm welcome by the owner Michael Perich. I walked through the entire place trying to look at everything but there is just so much I'm sure I'll go back and notice things I missed before. The attention to detail is just amazing. I love how wonderfully everything in there flows together. I have never been so taken back by a store before. After looking around I got drawn to the fragrances which Michael was so kind showing me scents I would like till I found the 2 that spoke to me. There is literally something for everyone there. I can't wait to go back! Thank you Michael you were so wonderful. I really needed that...
