We have been coming to this restaurant since we moved into the area in 2012, The food and atmosphere was a 10 and the owner when he was there would make his rounds to the guest and ask how the food and service. We always come early evening time for dinner on either Friday or Saturday. During covid we would order and pick up, the last time we did an order online was late last year. This past weekend we decided to dine at the restaurant and noticed distinct differences from the time we entered and waited to be seated to the cleanliness of the booth / bathrooms / Menu and food. There was no hostess when we walked in but did notice a person working that station once we were seated. We stood there and waited for about 5 mins prior to being approached by someone who didn't say anything to us but grabbed a rag and wiped down the table. I can say this normally there is a rag to wipe the table down and one to dry it with and normally the seats would be wiped down as well, which didn't happen so once the lady came back over and pointed to the booth, where we were told to sit down my wife and I both brushed off the food left on the seats. I proceeded to wash my hands in the bathroom where the garbage can was overflowing, and the sink area was dirty. The servers were very nice and friendly, and as for the food and prices not so much. As for the Menu it was hard to read, and it wasn’t due to lighting it was due to the blurriness of the Menu’s my wife and I had a hard time reading there was also a disclaimer which I have included in my pictures as to the 2.95% additional menu which states “price increase has been added to all checks. This cost is meant to avoid repeated changes and reprints of current menu.” In our case it would have been nice to have a more up-to-update menu so we could read it better. We ordered the Spicy Alfredo with Italian sausage dinner the sauce reminded us of Kraft cheese from a box, not good at all and no we only ate a little bit before just paying for the check and leaving. This experience was so disappointing to both of us, not to mention the dust covering the speakers up above the lamp above us and the lamp in the booth behind my wife shown in my pictures. We have since learned the owner passed away this past year which was sad to hear. We will not be going back to this restaurant again. This was my longest review, and most disappointing to give.

The food was good, not exceptional, but solid. We went for dinner on a Saturday around 8pm. The service was abysmal even taking into account the place was busy, since there seemed to be almost as many employees as diners. The waitress was nice but not very attentive, she refilled the coke with tea and the one time she came by to check on us after we ordered. It took almost 30 minutes for our appetizer to come and then our meals were delivered less than 5 minutes after that. We ordered the Artichoke, Shrimp and Crab dip for an appetizer and when it finally came out it was as cheesy as we could hope for. There wasn't much flavor from the seafood or artichoke though and the 8 tiny bread crusts supplied to dip into it were overly salty and not enough to match the amount of dip. We had the Super Food Pasta and Sausage stuffed Manicotti for dinner and they were much better. The sizes of each dish were more than adequate and they had good flavor. The Super Food was spicier than expected but that complimented the greens nicely. The Manicotti was a bit sweet but an extra dash of cheese fixed it. Worth coming back to check again but maybe earlier in the day when there's more time before the kitchen closes.

I usually love their spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs are REALLY good and the sauce is usually super flavorful. This last visit the noodles were not drained well and so the sauce was watered down and not very tasty. If this had been my first visit it probably would have been the only as I am picky about Italian food and generally don't like any of the chain offerings. I had the server bring some extra sauce to add to our spaghetti which made it too saucy but at least had better flavor that way. I have been here about 6 times and this was the only time I've had that issue. The menu price for the spaghetti and meatballs is higher than most places but the meatballs are much better than most too so still will usually order it. I tried a different dish and was not that thrilled with it but think I just ordered the wrong thing for me, the sausage was good though. One of my daughters gets Alfredo each time and it is better than most, most places it is tasteless and pasty. The bread with olive oil and balsamic is great and plentiful. Overall a solid place for Italian food. They also have spaghetti and meatballs for only 7.99 on Mondays and Tuesdays which is a great deal.

I have been a frequent customer at your eatery. We always enjoy different varieties of pasta and spaghetti at your restaurant.

Today was no different and since a friend of mine was visiting us from overseas I wanted to have him taste the good food so we chose to come to your restaurant located on 67th Ave in north Phoenix along with my two daughters aged 10 and 7.

We are a strictly vegetarian family and consume no meat, eggs or fish due to us being devout Jains. Even my school going children do not eat cakes or pastries since they know it may contain eggs.

While in your restaurant we place an order for the following items :

Kids Menu - Penne Alfredo with Kids Fruit on the side and no drink. Petes Pink Fettuccini Pasta Martini

I have clearly and twice mentioned to the server that we would like to have a strict vegetarian food without chicken, meat, eggs or fish.

Upon bringing the dishes I could clearly see pieces of Chicken in the Pasta Martini so I called the server and asked her to which she apologized and took the dish away telling us that she will have the Chef remake the dish.

While she was taking away the dish I again asked her if the Pink Fettuccini is vegetarian or not to which she confirmed that it is indeed vegetarian.

We then told her to cancel the Pasta Martini since looking at the chicken pieces we were not in a mood to eat that dish at all.

Then we started eating our lunch and almost at the end of it I noticed a small piece of something brown in it. To confirm my suspicion I requested the server to have a look at it and then she took the dish inside to get it checked.

In two/three minutes the manager Kim arrived at our table and informed us of the harrowing truth.

She said that the Pink Fettuccini was prepared in the Marinara Sauce which had meat balls in it so a piece of that meat ball came up into our dish.

This means not only were we served food that we did not ask for but also we were without our knowledge served Beef which goes all against our entire Indian communities belief and practices.

This was completely shocking and I could not believe Babbo's is using such a practice to prepare their food without the customer's explicit knowledge.

The manager (Kim) then offered to waive off the tab but clearly I did not feel it was about money or that I was trying to get free food so I insisted I would pay the tab.

To my final surprise I was charged for a Kids meal, Pink Fettuccini and also for a dish or Pasta Valducci which I neither ordered nor ate.

This double's down on the mistakes made by the staff as whole while taking the orders, while generating the bills and so on.

I am really shocked by this overall experience and my 10 year old no longer feels that eating at your eatery is safe anymore since she does not know what all things the food is going to be contaminated (mixed) with like Marinara Sauce with Meatballs...

We visited your 67th Ave & 101 location (20211 N. 67th Ave) last night 6/17. We walked in at 5:50 and asked for a table or booth for a party of 4. The “hostess” stated there was a 10 to 15 minutes wait. I did not catch the name of the “hostess” but I am sure you would know who was on duty then. We were surprised because the restaurant was practically empty. There were 2 booths and 3 tables occupied. The remainder of the restaurant set empty with tables and booths ready with setups to accommodate customers. The table in the center had a family of 5 seated and included an infant in a high chair on one end. We patiently waited as other customers were coming in and were also asked to wait in your entrance lobby. And we waited….

Finally the family of 5 seated in the center left and the “hostess” began to slowly clean the table. At 6:10 the “hostess” said she would seat us. We were seated at the table that she had just cleaned and where the family with the infant was seated. I immediately noticed that I was stepping on food dropping where the high chair was. Looking under the table on the floor there was a fork, 2 wrapped straws and food remains from the last customer. I made the “hostess” aware of it and her response was “I can take care of that”. She never did and I did not push the issue. This was a totally unsanitary condition that could create a health or accident issue not to mention that the Health Department would frown upon that.

But the night was not over. A waitress finally acknowledged us and we ordered drinks. Pinot Grigio, Marker Mark and Sangria. And we waited….The waitress returned and said they were out of Pinot Grigio and Sangria. We chose the White Zinfandel and ordered our food. And we waited….Food arrived 20 minutes later but no drinks were served. We made the waitress aware of it. “Oh yes, she said, I will get your drinks right away”.

A horrible experience due to poor staffing and/or management. However, your immediate attention needs to be drawn to this location especially since you...
