Hooper's Pub — Restaurant in Glendale

Another good dive bar for the west-side. This one has a cool patio with misting system and heaters. It's hidden off to the side but allows you to still see the parking lot. There is also live music some nights which is when it can get pretty busy. I don't think they have food here but they let you bring food in so it's good that there's a Taco joint in the same complex open late! Bartenders are attentive and really fun. This place tends to have an older crowd, the bands seem to cater to an older crowd as well. I say older but I don't want to give the impression that older is quieter. They dance and have fun and are generally much more polite than bars with younger based clientele. Biker friendly....

A friend of mine lives nearby this location and I've been here a few times. Definitely seems like a local neighborhood bar and overall it has a good feeling to it. Bartender was very nice and on top of things, the food I tried was great, it has 2 pool tables, and an outdoor area if you want to hangout outside and/or smoke. Bathroom was very clean and the upkeep of this location overall was very good as well. The prices on everything were pretty good and the customers both inside and outside seemed very nice as well. I would say this could be a great bar if the owner of the bar had someone else manage it, she is the MAIN problem of the bar NOT succeeding. Also the only good bartenders and not thieves that work there are Farrah and Wendy, the night bartenders Monica is a major thief and rude she pockets she steals from customers as well so watch your money and Sammy is drunk on the job and a pill popper.
