Definitely a "hole in the wall" restaurant, but the taste is on point! Exactly what mariscos are supposed to taste like! The menu is very minimal, but what they do serve, they do to perfection. Something to note...no hot food is served here, which means, no rice, no beans, no tortillas, with the only exception being chicken nuggets fries for the kids. Strictly mariscos, served cold and delicious. The place is super small, but worth it. Also, the portions are big, the small is like a large elsewhere. Absolutely worth a swing by. I went on a pretty reliable recommendation so I suppose I went in with high hopes. The place was packed so i took it as a good sign. There's no order to who's doing what, its crowded (not in the homey cozy type way), the girls at the registers where rude and short and half-paying attention, half having a conversation with someone else. Still i stayed hoping this might be one of those come-for-the-food-not-the-service-type-place. The flavor to the fish ceviche my husband couldn't even eat through. The food is wonderful. The place is super pack to the point you have people breathing over your shoulders. Service is very bad. They don't greet or sit you. They come and take your order until you tackle them down to do so. Once your food gets to your table you will never see the servers again. They are behind counter on their phones. Very young waiters. People are standing to be seated and waiters can't see you when you need service. I believe if the owner trained her waitress and waiters better this place would succeed. But the service...
