Dapper & Stout Coffee Company — Restaurant in Glendale

I wanted to try something new and stopped by. Only outdoor seating, 2 small tables. One staff member was extremely polite and hard working, the other, with the hoop earrings, was extremely rude and off putting. I asked if they would fill up my hydro flask with ice water and she said no, but was willing to charge .75 cents for a water cup. Simple customer service goes a long way. Tried an iced honey lavender latte and chicken parm sandwich. I like the variety of food options available. But I won’t be back. Took a sip of my honey lavender latte and full of honey at the bottom. They didn’t bother to stir. Not informative on menu either.

I have been successful and I leave HONEST reviews and will continue to do so. You have not read all of my reviews, and that is evident. As I just left this review an hour ago and you responded minutes later. Just be kind and the business will come to you. We are all trying to recover from COVID one way or another. Even your response shows me your mindset. I could have very easily given one star but your menu had great options. I just have had better experiences. Instead of taking constructive criticism , you are looking for an excuse. As noted, I personally will not be back, but that doesn't mean others will not either. Just be more mindful of how you talk to and treat your customers. Consumers go where they are valued and wanted. Successful business owners take opportunities to grow and learn and be better. That starts with them first and then training their employees to follow suit. Good luck to you and your company and I wish you nothing...

Ive visited this establishment on two occasions, the initial experience being mediocre at best. My iced late came watered down and melted, luckily the fact that it was drowned in sugar saved it. The drink was not the worst part, in fact the service was even more terrible. The employee on shift was very off putting of my request for oat milk substitute in my latte. When I asked for the substitution the barista became visibly annoyed, and grumbled something under her breath. She asked if almond milk would be okay instead but I had just seen her make a drink with oat milk and i just asked if they were out of it. Without saying anything she went to the back for a moment and came back with another carton of oat milk. Considering I was the only customer in the store at the time I felt this should have been a reasonable request. My second experience was far from better, in fact during my second second visit, both employees (two entirely different ones) ignored me while I waited at the counter for 7 minutes!! I can’t express my love for coffee enough on a day to day basis and then i found Dapper & Stout through Door Dash. Finding good non mega franchised coffee is so difficult. Living in Glendale the struggle has been very real until i found this stellar spot.

Ok let’s begin with their coffee. Oh the coffee is sublime. Although I’ve tried several concoctions, the Signature Bowtie is divine. Hands down my favorite drink to which I sometimes: add shots, switch it to breve or almond milk, one time hot - mostly iced, my order has NEVER been wrong. The employees are amazing at always getting my order right.

Now, the food. Oh their food is delicious and again, I have sampled the menu. If your sweet tooth is aching try the Nutella banana french toast. Holy sugar levels gone wild while my mouth does a happy dance. I love the sweets and my grandson loves the savory.
