I go to this place 2 or 3 times a week, at least 2 sometimes 3. I believe in the 3 strike rule and there already on strike number 2 in my last 2 visits. Last time they gave me my snowcup it was already melting like very melty I don't know how it melts from wherever they make it to 10 Feet outside the drive-through but I should Had said something i didn't. The latest thing which happened tonight for whatever reason they close that 8 tonight instead of 9. I understand that sometimes that happens it I did not have my phone on me it was still light out it just turning dark I didn't have any idea what time it was I just had a Craven (you know when you crave something really bad) and There was a car ahead of me. I pull up behind it and they come right out give the car their thing come up to me oh I'm sorry but we closed at 8 tonight and like I said I'm there 2-3 times a week, I'm a regular customer I had no idea what time it was I'm thinking maybe it's quarter after 8:10 what ever I'll live 5 minutes sometimes 4 depending on traffic from there. I get home its 8:06! Read moreI normally don't leave reviews. As someone who works in customer service and regularly gets rated on it I know how detrimental they can be when they are not good. We have gone to this establishment several times and Have always had a good experience until tonight. After taking my kids to uptown jungle we were driving by and decided to stop. The lights were on and there was no hours of operation posted that I could see and the door was unlocked so we walked right in. The kids started picking out their flavors and we stood there for 2 to 3 minutes well a young girl who work there Sat on her phone standing against the counter. Finally a young man walked up and said sorry we are closed. I thought this was very odd due To the door not being on locked. Typically that is the 1st thing that is done when the store closes. I then went and looked up the store on Google to see their hours of operation because they were not posted on the door and sure enough it was closed. I did not expect them to serve me Past closing because I understand everyone wants to get home but it was definitely a let down that we were allowed to walk in and start picking out our flavors while someone stood there and it took someone else walking up minutes later to tell us. Read moreI want to start with saying that the service and snow cones were great. I went in a couple weeks ago and got some snow cones like I said they were great. What I am writing about is what I over heard from one of the workers talking to her coworker. Apparently a lot of them put their two weeks in, weird right. I kept listening and turns out that the owner has been shorting their paystubs and it's because of an automated break, they both said to each other that neither one of them had taken a break since they started working there. To me this is crazy, you are stealing money from children that are working without breaks which is illegal. I hope that the workers get the money that this owner took from them. If they are working they should be getting paid point blank. There is no if and or but when it comes to paying your employees.
