Vito's Pizza — Restaurant in Glendale

First time coming here... Was walking around and found this hidden gem... Was skeptical cause it's a little pricey but me and my husband ordered a meatball sandwich, a beef sandwich and an order of friend rucchini.We waited maybe 10-15mins for it come out and while we waited we chatted with the lady, who was very friendly. When we got our order and finally bit into my sandwich it was so delicious and moist, the bread was not too thick but held up well, the fried rucchini was amazing and so crispy. Then we decided to order a cannoli since I had never had one before and it was like heaven, made fresh and so creamy! I would definitely recommend coming here for some authentic Chicago style food. I ordered a large meaty deep dish pizza once and was given the wrong pizza. You can’t really see the toppings by looking at it because it’s covered in sauce. When I got home and cut into the pizza it was only mushrooms. So I called them a lady took all of my info down and said she would credit me the pizza that I wanted. Called a few weeks later and spoke with the manager to explain the situation and try to get my credited pizza and was told they did not have my info down and the manger “did not know what to say”. This was my first and last visit to this place. I went to pick up my deep-dish pizza 35 minutes after placing the order online, only to discover it hadn't been prepared. The staff seemed unaware of my order until they reviewed the online list.

They then misled me by saying it would soon be ready. After waiting 10 minutes without an update, I decided to leave. Once home, I called to cancel the order, but the staff responded rudely and hung up.
