I must say the only redeeming quality about TDP is their food, but my visit on January 4th was easily one of the worst experiences I've had at any restaurant/food truck... I ordered ahead as it was a cold evening, and waited 32 minutes before even approaching the truck for pickup. The entire time I was waiting I watched 4-5 people show up in-person and receive their food within 10-15 minutes. The first woman at the counter laughed when I and other customers approached the truck wondering where their food was. She was replaced by another woman who ignored me when I returned for about 5 minutes before looking for my order. By the time I received my order I waited another 30 minutes in the cold for 1 quesadilla and 3 tacos because the employees would not give updates on when I should return... On top of everything the Al Pastor tacos didn't have any pineapples on them. Communication goes a long way; It's okay if things run out or employees are struggling, but team leaders should think of your customers who are left guessing why the experience is so poor. Customer service is so bad at the truck I won't be returning for a few months hoping to return to new changes/practices. So pick your poison when ordering online because your food is likely being rushed or you might end up waiting 40+ minutes for even small orders as they have a difficult time prioritizing which...

I am writing this review because I have been a regular customer at this place, and while their food is good, their customer service—at least over the phone—is terrible.
I recently placed a large order over the phone for my entire family plus visitors. I made a specific request for some of the boxes to have names on them, and while some did, others did not. Because of this inconsistency, I called back to ask for clarification. A young gentleman answered, and I explained that if they are going to put names on some orders, they should finish labeling all of them. This is important so customers don’t have to guess, especially since some people have dietary restrictions or allergies. The lack of proper labeling could even lead to a dangerous situation—some tacos look very similar, and a mistake could cause someone serious harm or even death.
Instead of addressing my concern professionally, the employee was extremely rude. He told me that if customers want names on their orders, they need to specifically request it. This response makes no sense, considering that some of the orders already had names while others did not. Unfortunately, due to this inconsistency, one of our guests accidentally ate the wrong taco, which they were allergic to, and ended up throwing up.
Not only was the employee unprofessional, but he also had no courtesy to even try to help identify the orders. Instead, he rudely hung up the phone and did nothing to assist.
I will be posting this review on Google for both locations, and I sincerely hope that they make changes to their system. Employees should not be arguing with customers who are simply asking for help.

Read more@tacosdonperez I'm already want to come back here! Food was all SO delicious, and I loved their setup, reminds me of Hawaii. ✨️ Aqua frescas: I got the Jamaica one, which is hibiscus and it was so good! I'll get the tamarind next, that's usually my go to. ✨️ Elote: Both the traditional elote & the hot cheeto one HIT THE SPOT. I liked comparing the both of them and highly recommend ordering one( or both) of these. ✨️Birria quesadilla: The consommé was amasing, perfect for dipping both the quesadillas and the tacos in and paired perfectly with the quesadillas, which was a large portion good for 2 people! ✨️ Carne asada tacos: my usual order for tacos, these were great and I would get again. 3 for $11 ✨️ Tinga de pollo tacos: I was so impressed with these! It's a must try in my opinion, and I loved the consommé with it. ✨️ Tres leches & oreo cake: Both were great, but the traditional tres leches just really hit the spot. Really made the meal all come together. Overall, I was so impressed and I will continue to tell people about them and I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK! (Which will probably be...
