Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Maryland

This is to put my local Pizza Hut on blast...this is the third time I have had a horrible experience with the Pizza Hut on Georgia Ave in Silver Spring, MD. The stuff is horrible, the management is horrible. The first time the delivery guy was 45 mins late. I called the office and they stated they couldn't even get in touch with him. When he finally showed up to my door I had to tell him to call the office to give me a discount. The second time he was an hour late and claimed he couldn't find my apartment(I hadn't move from last time). This time I cancelled my order. I hadn't ordered from here in a while and decided to try this again. This time my pizza was late over 30 mins again. We called and they said it was a problem with the card. When we ask why we didn't get a call back, we were hang up on and had to call back. When we called back and gave them the card number again, it worked, miraculously. But they stated it would be an hour wait on a weekday. So we ask to cancel. The chic said "fine" and hang up on us again. We called back and ask to speak with a manager. The manager was just as rude and when we ask to verify if our order was cancelled all they said was, "yea, yea...its cancelled" and hang up. RIDICULOUS. I will be going on every social media website, every review site and Pizza Hut's own website to report time. This...

I am writing this review because there were only three reviews on yelp within the past three years, and this place was the best deal I found and also because they allowed odd things like online ordering pizza for a friend who was allergic to tomatoes, of all things. I thought for sure no way that I could order that but it was right there boom done.

Also, it is not being listed here unless you zoom in real close so let's fix that.

I actually apparently messed up my order, but it was probably my own fault as I think the default was to pickup and I needed delivery. So we all waited here until I asked what was going down and they told me. Sadly they couldn't edit the order, but it was fine and I respect their boundaries of how much they can pull from my credit card.

Anyway, all 3 pizzas seemed great, and the prices were 30% below Papa John's' price. They tasted great and unlike Ledo's pizzas they weren't polluted with any noticeable level of sugar.

Obviously Frankly Pizza would be a step up but 2 stars is insane for being the cheapest price in town and no way they'd have been able to handle the tomato allergy so easily.

Delivery was smooth as ice except for the reviewing system which apparently wants me to develop some relationship with the driver or something. I got a gf but thanks...

My pizza was ordered online for delivery. I recieved an update on the pizza hut app that my pizza was out for delivery roughly 30 minutes after ordering. About 70 minutes later, my pizza had not arrived. I called the local store to find out the status of my order. I was informed that they were "still waiting on a driver or no drivers available". Fortunately, the stor is not that far away. The manager or assistant manger did credit back delivery and tip fee which is good. They also offered a credit towards a future pizza which I am told will be visible on the app. I thought this was also a nice gesture. My issue is that once those pizzas come out of the oven, they are piping hot and usually stay hot a while in the delivery case. My order sat in the case for well over an hour and the pizzas were warm bu the time i got home. At the time I arrive back home, 2 hours have passed on this order. My rating is based on the store accommodating me after fact. I would have appreciated a phone call much earlier giving me the option to switch to pick-up vs me having to waiting an unspecified amount of time for a delivery that...
