I grew up in Northeastern Central Pa and boy do I miss those hoagies. This is the first hoagie that has filled that hole in my heart (and stomach). Art's is a really unassuming spot in an unassuming town. I'm really glad I live down the block. I order once a week now. There are three things that make a great hoagie. The bread, the meat/cheese, and the fixin's. Art's piles it on. Everything. This hoagie is supported by a soft yet full roll, and is packed with anything and everything you need/want. My two favorite things so far have been the Italian Deluxe and the Pork Roll, Egg, and Cheese. The bun the breakfast sandwich is on is fresh and perfectly sized. Every bite has filling. Anyone living across the bridge needs to make the trip over to Gloucester City, because after all these years living in greater Philly, this is the first time I've been wholly satisfied with a hoagie in this area.

Any truck driver sitting at the Gloucester Terminals, I’d advise you to take a 10 minute walk up the road and get yourself some food from this place. The sandwich hoagies are amazing, well priced, and the size any trucker would be happy with. The bread was perfect, the cuts of roast beef were mouth watering, and did I mention portion size? I will definitely make the effort to pick up a sandwich any time I come to the Gloucester Terminals.

To start off the people here are amazing. So friendly and really make the whole experience better. We get sandwiches here every few weeks. I wish I could get here more often. I like the Tuna hoagie but my favorite is the Turkey and Bacon. They have a good selection of drinks and chips when picking up as well. The French Fries are always fried perfectly and the salads are amazing as well.

I used to get food from here all of the time but my last experience was the absolute worst! I called in an order for pick up at 5:15 pm long story short I did not get my food until after 6pm! To make it worse the hot food was cold and my sandwich roll was hard. While picking up the new lady ( because I never saw her before) she had the audacity to yell at me from the back while she was making my sandwich when I asked why my food wasn't ready yet after my husband came to pick up at 5:40. She yelled at me frustrated saying she's making my sandwich right now and how she's overwhelmed with orders. I feel this had nothing to do with me at all. From my experience on dining and working in the food industry myself for over 10 years, I know that you should make the cold food first and THEN my hot food would have still been hot. My family and I didn't even eat that mess. Hard bread and hot food to re heat was not what I spent money for. I ended up spending more money ordering...

I can see through the window they have raw on a sandwich that seemed alot like what I had ordered- picks them off with her BARE HANDS..... she comes back and I pay and ask her if the cooks hands were clean as handling ANY FOOD WHEREVER YOU ARE, you have to be wearing gloves I'm sure.....????

She goes back to retrieve sandwich and tell her I saw her and the heavy set red haired woman cook said very loudly "that's his problem!"

When she hands it to me I just say "yea i guess it is my problem"
