It is a shame that I have to leave this review here but I just can't ignore how rude these people were.
First, i walk in and the one lady was making pastries she looked annoyed with me as I walk in. Ignore it as I thought maybe that she was not annoyed by my presence
Second, I order my food and asked her to add everything which Includes the cheese (cojita), the creama and to not to add onions on one order. The lady told the cook about the order and proceeded to say how picky I was about my order and why do I have to be so particular about it. She spoke it In spanish!
Third, the cook sayed he didn't have the Mexican cheese cojita that is supposed to go into an actual Mexican taco and added mozzarella and proceeded to say it doesn't matter as it is the same thing and most people don't know about it. This is not a true Mexican spot without that cheese.
Forth, I payed for my order before they cooked my stuff and she refused to give me a reciept and sayed it will i will get it by email and never asked about my email and tipped herself 10 dollars. I found out the next day when I checked my account.
I will never go back here. It is sad because I am also a latina woman and wanted to support someone from my community and I got treated like trash. The funny thing is...that when I ordered I spoke in spanish. The nerve of these people. It's sad and I avoided confrontation as I just got out of work and was super exhausted skipped breakfast and lunch and all I wanted to do was to feed myself and my husband.
That woman does need help. It seems that she has an issue with me as I speak both English and spanish and was annoyed at the fact that I was speaking to my...
Read moreI placed an order for take out over the phone. First they made it seem like they didn’t understand what I was saying (mind you I speak Spanish). When I repeated my order to another employee, they placed my order. To be clear, I ordered one order of steak tacos, one order of Al pastor, and two tamales, one of each flavor they had which were only two kinds (the green one and a red kind, mole-a chipotle kind of sauce with chicken).
Respectfully, I’ve never had tacos and tamales that lacked flavor. The tamales were “fresh” but so bland. The steak tacos tasted like they washed the meat and cooked it, no seasoning. The Al pastor tacos had some flavor but still had a weird taste to it.
On the bright side, they gave me 7 tamales in total. Two were mole, the other two I couldn’t tell you what kind they were and three were the green. Still couldn’t finish them.
This place also is a bakery if I am not mistaken, I have not tried their pastries, but after my...
Read moreWent here for lunch one day and I keep coming back for the bakery! Can't go wrong with a burrito but this restaurant really shines with their bakery. The conchas, muffins, and doughnuts are top tier delicious! I also recommend their homemade beverages if you like fruit teas. They have a delicious Jamaica hibiscus tea you can put a straw in and drink straight out of the container. The service is also excellent. Highly recommend this place for food, drinks...
