Tavern on the Edge is an all around great establishment. I am still a little tipsy from last night so I am inclined to make this review. Typically you can see me crushing craft brews here because there is always a great selection. Last night was a different experience. When I was looking into places to throw my class reunion, I stopped as soon as I found Tavern. For a very reasonable fee, you can order the finest Mexican food in Gloucester City and hammer bud light, Margaritas and Sangria for a few hours. This was perfect. If you are looking for a neighborhood tavern, to drink, eat and be merry... TAVERN ON THE EDGE in Gloucester City.

You can enjoy yourself without needing a loan from a bank, average prices for a pint are $3-$6, with 24 taps, I am sure you can find something to your liking. The food was not your normal bar fare... Bar food yes, but elevated to satisfy your palate. To say I was surprised, is an understatement. And when you learn that this cozy little Irish Pub, was over 6 years in the making, you are shocked. I was recently visiting the area from Oklahoma. Popped in for a quick beer with my girlfriend. Ended up having a couple more, plus wings (the Chiodi sauce is the real deal!) and a small pizza.
