Cinco De Mayo authentic mexican restaurant — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

Excellent Authentic Mexican food, very good flavor, fresh ingredients. Waitress did a excellent job, she was very attentive and friendly. Wife and I went for the Grand Opening. Salsa was freshly made, for appetizers we had the Crazy Corn and Chicken Chalupas which are delicious. Dinner forgot the name, it was beef over corn tortillas fried with a red sauce, it was delicious and the portion huge, wife had chicken tacos very good. Food came out hot and fast. For dessert I highly recommend the Churros, these are not your normal Churros these have a sweet cream filling sooo Good with a side of vanilla icecream. Perfect way to end a great dinner. We went for chips and salsa only to check it out and welcome the owners to our town. They were sooo good! The red and green salads was really good and still fresh a few days later when i had for lunch. We also tried their churros. They are freshly made to order and come out warm and have a yummy center cream.

We grabbed some ice cream at ShopRite and it is our new favorite treat. We went back for more twice already.

Disappointed in some of the reviews about the flavor bc we liked what we had and I’d really like the place to make it so we have options in this town. There is really nothing here like Washington Twp and Haddonfield! Come on GT welcome the new stores...

Everything was completely bland. The pork carnitas quesadilla had chopped bland meat, not shredded and fried, served in a mushy fall apart tortilla. It was loaded with oaxaca cheese, but that was it. The Birria tacos fell apart in our hands, no cheese, no onions, not fried, and absolutely no flavor. They were awful. Nachos were ok, but it only had chopped seasonless grilled chicken. On Cinco de Mayo, we really wanted that Mexican spice and flavor, but sadly received none. I will not be going back and truly hope this critique helps the food...
