Coppola Pizza - Chews Landing Rd. — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

Went last night to enjoy a half plain half buffalo chicken pizza and the owner Tina not only charged us for a full plain pie $12.00, but also up charged an "open box" fee of $6.50 without making us aware that it was a "policy of the restaurant to do so when ordering a half pizza. When I brought it to Tina's attention she stated that if we would have asked our waitress then we would have known the extra charge existed. I asked her to show me on the menu where it is listed that they upcharge to get a half and half pizza and she couldn't, and told me "it is what it is, pay it and leave". After she smacked her hands on the counter repeatedly and caused a scene Antonella/Antonia (not sure which), who has no people skills, cursed infront of several other customers at me while behind the counter (as I didn't even raise my voice) I realized what kind of professionalism I was dealing with. Tina threatened me by asking "so your saying you aren't paying your bill is what your telling me".. which wasn't what I was implying at all, I gave the gentleman my card behind the counter. Instead of charging my card infront of me, he gave it to someone else to take in the back and continued to check out other guests... making me wait longer instead of diffusing the situation.. in the mean time Tina was behind the counter mumbling and still creating a site to see, as I stood quietly waiting for my check. TERRIBLE business ethic, TERRIBLE people skills, and TERRIBLE Prices... . BEWARE...

I live down the road from this place. Their food is decent BUT, I have taken my grandchildren there when they were younger and it took at least 20 minutes for the waiter to come to our table and take our order, he brought our drinks about 10 minutes later. We waited another 40 minutes so I got my grandchildren and motioned to him that we were leaving! Then another time it was just me and my granddaughter. AGAIN no one came to our table!! My granddaughter told me, "let's go Mom Mom and we left AGAIN!! BUT, when we go in with my daughter, her husband, my grandchildren and myself, that same waiter couldn't get to our table fast enough! And he knew exactly what they wanted to eat!! I've never gone back and won't give them my business. I believe the waiter is part owner. He is a disgrace! I was in the restaurant business over 50 years and never seen anything like the rudeness and disregard for customers like that!...

This used to be my go to for great pizza. Unfortunately, the service has been terrible since it turned into a "training center". I basically order the same thing 90% of the time. One slice of plain, one slice of sausage, and a soda. The 'new guy' got my order wrong the very first time he waited on me. Really? I didn't place a catering order. Okay, he's new, give him a break. The last time I was there (and I usually go around 11:30 am, it's never busy at that time) he gets the order wrong again! If you can't handle a simple order of 2 slices of pizza, you're in the wrong business, pal. I've been going there for 10 years and until recently, I've NEVER had a bad experience. It's not just the service, the prices are getting ridiculous and the slices are getting smaller and smaller. I do realize prices are on the rise all over, but it's the combination of the prices and...
