Villa Russo Pizzeria — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

I swore by this place to the point that I handed out their menu to my entire complex and I ordered at least 3 time's a week if not more and for every gathering I had at my house , but from the from day one my order seemed to get messed up to the point where 9 out of 10 orders was wrong and I would tell them about it, they would apologise so I would contiue to order. I stayed a loyal customer, but it just got to the point where if I didn't get this one particular lady to take me order I end up with something missing so today I placed an order with who I believe is the same joung girl who keeps messing up my order and I told her 2 time's, my husband even herd me tell her I wanted mozzarella sticks so thinking bc my order came up to $46 and change everything must ok but it wasn't so i called back and the girl puts the same guy who's always apologising for my messed up order but this time he starts yelling at me and saying I didn't get charged for so what's the problem? I tell him the problem is that I ordered them for a reason smh my son is a picky eater so I ordered it for him so he says I'm a very good customer so he's going to send it to me no charge, I did say I didn't have a problem paying for but I'll accept them for nothing bc I've never asked for anything despite of my constent issues with my orders so the driver gets here and tells my son he has to pay for it, I told him I wasn't being charged for so he left with it. I called the store back to tell them what happened to only end up with the guy screaming at me that he never said that to me and he doesn't give out free food!! I can't say I have ever had someone talk to me in that manner so I had to hang up plus my husband could hear him screaming at so now he's getting upset so right b4 the guy is about to become even more belligerent I had to hang up. ... there is no way in the world that we can ever do business with them again. I can no longer trust them with my food and that's a damn shame bc I really enjoyed there food and I dealt with the days where their food wasn't so good bc I was a loyal customer... I Will never order...

BUYER BEWARE* This restaurant is the only one in my area that sells Arancini rice balls with meat and sometimes I really crave them. Unfortunately, majority of the time when I place an order from them, they mess something up. The first time few times it happened everything was fine. They did the right thing and fixed whatever was the problem. Little by little it became more and more difficult to get them to do the right thing when they messed up my order until eventually the owner got on the phone with me called me a liar, cursed me out, and told me never to order from his store again. then after I hung up, he charged my credit card for my order again and wouldn’t give me my money back. I had to go dispute the charge from my bank who eventually did get my money back for me. All of this happened about a year ago. Fast-forward about a year later I found myself craving the Arancini again, but was not able to find anywhere else that sold them so stupidly enough I started placing orders from them again. Now literally every single time I I place an order, they mess it up without fail. Today, for instance, I ordered my arancini rice balls, which is supposed to come with three but they sent only two and one of them was smooshed flat. As you can see in the photo attached to this review. When I called to let them know, they told me that they sent three and that I’m shit out of luck. Last week I ordered the Arancini rice balls with meat and they sent me Arancini rice balls with cheese instead. When I place the order I put in bold letters that I do not want the cheese rice balls if they don’t have the meat. It’s a shame that the owner of this establishment is so prideful and can’t own up when he or his employees make a mistake. Instead, he gets vengeful and lets his customers suffer while taking their money....

I just found this pizza place on the slice app & gave it a try. Since then, I’ve probably ordered 3x this week & I really wanted to leave a review to thank them. Let me start with their prices. They have the fairest prices in this area.. while most restaurants want 14$ for a sandwhich Villa Russo comes in around 10-11$ WITH FRIES a lot of the time. This is a simple gesture that stands out as most pizza places do not offer them with your sandwhiches anymore despite them being cheap. I continue to try all their variations of chicken cheese steaks & each time I think I’ve found my new favorite. Their kids menu is amazing & has a lot of optjons(baby pizza!), my kids love it. My first order they were out of the soda I choose so the owner sent out my food & told the delivery driver to give me 5$ & apologize. The drivers are so friendly & honestly the food is just delicious. This is my new spot & they really deserve your business bc I good customer service is not all that common anymore.
