Terrible - cold, poorly put together, & barley wrapped.... Had a situation happened with missing food from my order from drive thru... Went in and tried to get my missing items.... didn't have a receipt.... cause they didn't give me one.. then when they found my order through there computer... they rudely told me I didn't order my missing items... So they would have to charge me for them... Which would not have been a problem except for the way they presented it to me.... There words exactly..." you didn't order them, so if you want them, we'll have to get your credit card to charge you" (Me- uuummm! wrong) I ordered them. the drive thru Point of Sale employee didn't type in all my order" apparently. Asked for there corporate number they refused to give it to me... Asked for there store number... They wouldn't give it to me.... Asked for there names and got half muffled response's... Finally had to get them to stop and look at me in my face and slow down there speaking to get there names... Fabiola- one manager.. and josilin (Short angry blonde glasses girl) another manager or something like that... Two very rude people/ managers ... As I was talking to Fabiola, Josilin cursed me under her breath while I was rite next to her... I Pointed it out to Fabiola (the manager I was talking to) at that time and she didn't seem to think it was a problem... I explained my problem to her (Fabiola) while I'm being cursed under breath by another (Josilin) and as soon as I told Fabiola to get a handle on her crew she told me to leave and not to come back... Really??? My jaw hit the floor... Couldn't believe it.... The only thing I can say was a Pro Is =... I walked out got the store#, got The Corp.# and as I was making my phone call to corporate....Two other customers came up to me and said That they couldn't believe what they just witness... And felt I handled it the best way possible... They also said they will never return to this store either.... And if your wondering what Corp did... They took a message and said they would call me back... They never did....I had to call them again the next day... They just listened and apologized for the other managers attitudes....To little to late if you ask me.... Plain and simple to say, just go else where, Golden offers allot of other options for food... Don't go to McDonald's in Golden... it's just a waste in time, money, and human life... And one more thing to all of you who think that store is new it is not... I have grown up in Golden and that McDonald's has been there forever... Not to say it's hasn't been remolded but it most certainly...
This is the absolute worst McDonald's in the history of McDonald's, has been for years so don't ever expect change, do yourself a favor near this McDonald's is pizzahut, wingstop, sonic, taco bell, wendys, subway, burger King, chik fil a, and five guys. When I go to a McDonald's I expect the absolute bare minimum in restaurant quality, I don't expect to be wowed by flavor and good service at McDonald's I expect to pay a cheap price for edible, warm, properly handled food, prepared in a timely manner nothing more however no matter what time of the day I've come to this McDonald's I've ended up waiting atleast 30 minutes, doesn't matter if it's morning, lunch or dinner, doesn't mean matter if it's drive through or carry out/dine in, I've lived in Golden my whole life so naturally we've eaten here quite a bit, however in the last 2 years I've spent at least 24 hours just waiting in this McDonald's line (2 times a month 30 minutes each time) but it's probably closer to 48 hours because I'm fat and sometimes eat here more than twice a month, it's absurd sometimes they just forget about your order or you'll watch ever person in Golden get McDonald's while you spend an hour and in half in line and waiting on your food in the drive though lane #1, then the managers will always ignore your surveys or never even apologize for taking an hour + on your garbage McDonald's. Do not get me started on the ice cream machine Bs, I know every McDonald's does it but this one litteraly always says thier ice cream machine is broken or that they are out of ice cream, don't lie we know you have nobody qualified enough to clean the stupid thing. God forbid you have to talk to the female self proclaimed manager who is the snarkiest and rudest person in the store, and I'm not actually sure the manager is the real manager cause he never even does anything to right the constant wrongs, no apologies ever received from him lmao, I've had to come back to pick up. Missing food so much it's disgraceful. And finally the employees are regularly not wearing gloves or masks while handling drinks and credit cards, given they should have been before covid if they are touching our drinks it's extremely disturbing that they still aren't. Regardless regardless me my family and about 20 others, all regulars, have decided to just say no this McDonald's and I think you should too, go to any other restaurant in Golden, stop supporting this God...
Read moreI used to go to this McDonald’s all the time and have no issue, I don’t know what has happened to their management lately but it is HORRIBLE. The past THREE times I have tried to come here they have messed up my order. The first time, I arrive to pick up my online order and they let me know at the window that they’re out of French fries… how do you run out of French fries at McDonald’s in a small college town????? And of course I can’t get a refund through the app you have to talk to someone at the window, I wouldn’t have gone at all if I knew half of my meal wouldn’t be available. Then, I go another day and the fries were the only thing they got right! My cheeseburger was supposed to be plain and wasn’t and they gave me a regular coke instead of diet. And they don’t even automatically give you a straw anymore with the drink so how was I supposed to try it before I got home? By treating my large McDonald’s soda cup like a coffee and drink while driving like that?? Extremely angry that only one item was correct, and again since I didn’t check before getting home, I can’t get a refund through the app because they want you to do it in person. Because driving all the way back hangry and then bothering the poor cashier person is a good use of anyone’s time in a high traffic fast food drive through 🤦🏻♀️then, today because I lack brain cells and decide to give this location another shot, I make an online order and upon getting there see a note on the drive through speaker that they closed an HOUR ago. Why did the app let me order food when they’re closed?? And now I can’t even go immediately to another location because you can’t use deals within 15 minutes, even though I cancelled the order and didn’t even get the food the deal was for. This McDonald’s has SERIOUS management issues, how do you run out of staple menu items, get orders wrong, and close early???? Pick a struggle!
