In the past, we went to this location as a "go-to" for lunch and dinner when we wanted pizza and salad bar. Today, we went in with the same intent; we waited at the front of the store for five minutes, and there was no one to greet us, or even acknowledge that we were in the store. My wife shouted out "Hello" to the kitchen area twice, and still no movement. She went and shouted "Hello" at an office off of the Drive-thru side of the building, and only got a gruff "Hello" from a young blonde man seated behind a computer watching a Broncos game....But he still didn't come out! I went to see if there was anyone in the office near the cash register, and still no one. As soon as I turned to go back to the front, the young blonde man followed me out telling me that " You shouldn't be in our kitchen", to which I replied, "We have been waiting to be seated." He then said, in a very asinine manner, "You can sit wherever you want!". I told him, "You don't have to be a smartass to me. We just wanted service. I would like to speak to the Manager, please." He pointed at his own chest pocket, which had NO identification whatsoever, and said that he "was the Manager". I told him that a missing name tag wasn't good enough, and told my wife that we were leaving....Immediately. I also told him that I will be speaking with the Owner the following day. NEVER in the six years that we have been to this location have we ever been treated in such a manner. The service was ALWAYS POLITE AND CONSISTENT. NOT TODAY.This should never happen in ANY restaurant, PERIOD. I sent a complaint to Pizza Hut's website with the same information. If that young man believes that he above everyone else on the planet to watch a damned football game rather than do his job, so be it, but I will guarantee anyone that reads this review that he believes he's still entitled to a paycheck for being a complete jackass to good paying customers.
UPDATE: I have spoken with the Owner of this store recently. While she has always been friendly and gracious in the past, I am somewhat skeptical of how her Employee will treat us in the future; we will visit this store soon...
Read moreOk. Here's the deal. I worked at a Hut almost a decade ago. Pizza Hut was also a pretty big part of my childhood. I worked my ass off for that pizza hut, probably the hardest I ever worked for a company. I was only a shift manager, but I did a lot of the gm's work with her and for her. I loved that place and I was super particular about everything being perfect 100% of the time. Yeah, well, that totally ruined pizza hut for me. The last 8 years have been this horrible wandering through life, rare and heartbreakingly disappointing pizza hut experiences. I wasn't sure what might become of me. When we moved to Golden, we decided to just give it a go, just in case. Well, thank god we did that, because order has been restored to the universe and all is right again. We have very particular dietary restrictions and have never encountered a problem with that at all. This is huge. This is monumental. We have problems almost everywhere we go. Every pizza we've ordered has been perfect. The dough is fresh. I can tell when the dough isn't fresh and its just like, the worst. But when it's fresh, it's got this great fluff to it. Ugh. God. Ok, so, I guess there is one little thing I might suggest. Break the breadsticks apart before you put em in the pan. It's a pain in the ass and it takes a little longer, but it's worth it, they get fluffier & you should be cutting them to serve them anyways. (Ahem) anyways.. The service we've received every. single. time has just been, seriously exceptional. Every employee I've encountered has had a smile and eager to help. And this includes the delivery drivers, too! Dine in pizza hut dinner holds a very special place in my heart, but I do wanna let you know I've never had anything but courtesy and professionalism from the drivers, too! Always on time and always with a smile. They're all just wonderful. I really can't rave about them enough, customer service means everything to me and they are awesome. Thank you guys for everything, sorry we're not up...
Read moreI ordered pizza here last evening. When it came it had mushrooms on it which im allergic to. I called the manager that basically kept insisting it was my fault. She rudely agreed to send a new pizza out but only if I exchanged the old pizza sitting in my house! I agreed and received a new pizza. When I opened the box it was like a funny joke they had played, it clearly had the wrong crust that was thin, burnt, smelt like fish and perfume. I called the manager back and stated I wanted a refund for all the inconvenience and condition of the food. She began laughing at me and refused to give me a refund, or a phone number to a customer service representative as well as refusing to give me a number to corporate. She stated no one would believe anything that had transpired and began laughing at me. She dismissed all of my complaints and hung up on me. As well of the fact that the delivery person threw my pizza on the ground, picked up the old pizza that was already in my house which by the way we are positive for covid, and placed it in his clean delivery bag. They purposely sent out pizza with the wrong toppings and crust, there was hair in my pizza as well. I saved the pizza because I plan on making a report. I feel they were trying to give my kids and I food they had obviously tampered with. Throughout the day and several representatives later I have found a way to contact corporate and plan on filling a report against her and the delivery guy. They should not be able to treat paying customers like garbage nor serve garbage. The only solution she offered me was a phone number for a secretary haha. Please dont trust these people they are terrible and I feel they were trying to feed us something to harm us and am afraid they will do it to the next customer. Its scary because all I asked for was for a pizza that didn't contain mushrooms and they acted like upset children with...
