Ninja Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Goldsboro

After work I called in some lunch from here since it was close by and when the worker answered the phone she was laughing and having a conversation with someone else the whole time. She could barely take my order down because she was too distracted. I didn’t rlly care cause I was just hungry. After waiting 25 minutes for my food to be ready I drove home (which is 20 minutes away from the restaurant) and realized they gave me the wrong order. I was so hungry that I agreed to driving the 20 mins back to get my food I ordered. When I returned they took away the mistaken food they gave me and made me wait around 8 minutes for my food. I kept on asking why can’t I just take my actual order and the wrong order since they’re just going to throw it away. All they could say is that “it’s company policy.” It doesn’t make sense that I drove an extra 20 minutes there and back for food I ordered an hour ago and receive nothing in return for the inconvenience. All they could say is that it’s company policy to waste food. I didn’t argue about it much because I’m only 17 and I’ve dealt with annoying customers before, so I wasn’t gonna be a Karen and give workers a hard time but dang the workers there today were really inconsiderate. My last experience here, I feel that all of the front staff had an attitude. And was not making me and family member feel comforitable. I feel the prices are to high for the little bit of food they give you I had more rice than steak which I got the steak for mainly the steak. I had to go and check on our food for I felt as if they forgot our food until I went up there, I just think it was not done yet. I feel they are promoting a lazzy resturant. You have ti get your own food and take your own dishes and dump and put them in a bin, which at the price I paid I feel they should have done it for me. I feel that the quality of the food was not great for the price match. I was not satified wuth my meal and due to the attitude of the front staff I do not think I will be returning to this facility. I don't know what just happened, because we ate here months ago and it was delicious. However, it is Sunday about 3:30. It's not busy in here. My husband and I ordered the combo bowl with steak and shrimp. It took nearly 25 min to get our meal. We ordered the steak med rare. It was literally beyond well done, like so well done we had difficulty putting our forkd through the crust on the meat. It was tough and difficult to eat. The shrimp was overcooked but edible. The meat was literally smothered in a sauce that we had to wipe off because there was just way too much. The fried rice was ok. The mixed veggies were mostly cabbage. I think I found 1 piece of zucchini and a sliver or two of carrot. They tasted like they were grilled on a burned grill. They weren't burned, however. They were cooked well, just had a burned taste, probably from my cremated steak. I will come back and try again, hopefully this is just an off day....
