I'm new to Granbury and have visited this location twice. The first time I did an online pick up order at a destinated time and when I picked up my food it was cold and clearly made immediately when I ordered it vs closer to my pick up time. The second time I ordered my meal and ask to upgrade my drink to large and also added a happy Gilmore cup for $1. When I got my receipt I see I was charged for 2 drinks. The one with my meal and a large separately when it usually is a very small uncharge. I mention it to the employee and she explained u had to purchase a small drink to get the cup. I was not informed of this when paying and would have forged the large drink because it was not worth paying $2.49 for my large drink separately. I even used the word upgrade when ordering. I then asked if I can just return the large drink cup since that was not mentioned and I wouldn't have ordered it otherwise. She then stated she didn't know how to. Some of the most unprofessional customer service I've ever experienced. Telling a customer u don't know how is one of the biggest no nos in the customer fields. There were supervisors/managers on duty but they seemed high and stayed back and she didn't bother asking for their help. I'm glad there are other subways around because this one...
Read moreLove this subway! Ashley and Jason are super professional and friendly. When I walked into this Subway location, Jason & ashley greeted me kindly, which was a good start. Ashley went to the back, jason took my order. However, the experience quickly went downhill when Ray, who was in the back, came out to help Jason with my order. It was clear from the moment he began assisting that Ray looked like he absolutely hated his job. When it was time to add vegetables to my sandwich, he didn’t say a single word, he just stared at me, making the interaction awkward and uncomfortable and this is not the 1st time with ray. On top of that, he placed wilted, bad spinach leaves on my sandwich. When I politely asked for them to be removed, he sighed heavily and acted visibly annoyed, as though my request was an inconvenience. Ray’s negative attitude, coupled with his lack of professionalism, made this entire visit unpleasant. Read moreThis used to be my favorite subway to go to, the staff was super friendly, orders were timely, and any special requests we met with kindness and accuracy. Something has changed in the last few months, perhaps starting in August?
There was a younger boy that worked there, and he was fantastic. I haven’t seen him in a while so I am not sure if he is still there. The rest of the staff just doesn’t quite seem as positive and excited to be at work.
I gave it a few weeks after management change and tried again, but the same result. Today I gave it one last shot, and I’m sorry, the quality is just not there anymore. I rarely write a negative review, but please try to go to the other location unless you want to have a very sloppy sandwich with ingredients...
