The food was very good. Unfortunately, about a quarter of the way through my wife's meal she noticed a very long straight black hair mixed into her Thai shrimp. When we politely brought this to the waitresses attention, she apologized & not very genuinely said that had never happened there before. I'm sorry but if you are a restaurant that obviously does not invest in hairnets, then I'm sure that it has happened before. It would still be off-putting, but at least understandable if the hair had belonged to the waitress, but it did not. It definitely came from one of the cook staff considering our waitress was blonde. A hair in the food is one of the biggest & most easily avoidable food service mishaps, so much so that it is almost cliche. That being said, the food was great. It was a Saturday night & we were the only people there. The wait staff was a little awkward but considering the circumstance, that is understandable. They did take the meal off of the ticket & offer to replace it, but unfortunately our appetites had been soured. Had they just invested in some hairnets I would easily had given 5 stars. They even had Jurassic Park on the T.V.! lol....
Read moreBeing the only Chinese "fast food" place in Granbury I figured I would try it out. This place didnt sit right with me for a few reasons. First, the General Tso chicken is normally about 6 or 7 dollars at other places, but was 11.50 here. Secondly, other places will let you choose steamed rice, fried rice, or lo mein but here only the steam rice comes with the meal while the fried rice is a dollar extra and the lo mein is a separate purchase all together. Third, this place was dead on a Saturday night, only one table being used when we showed up. And my final gripe is after eating my chicken I started having stomach pains and still feel rather drained even today, 2 days later. There are far better choices for fast food in Granbury and I will drive to Cleburne or Weatherford, or even Fort Worth before I ever go back here again. Over priced, poor menu selection, possible food issues, and just not a friendly...
Read moreSave your money and time and find other place bcz this one is not it for hot fresh cooked to order food.....both of our meals came out cold and gross..tasted like a frozen TV dinner that they added canned chicken to. I ordered the spicy general chicken upgraded to the "only white "meat. Option . My plate had exactly 10 tiny hard fried dough balls that was was not white meat chicken bites in brown fishy gravy. We both refused our plates when the fried rice was so sticky thick like cheese was added to it. But I believe it was just really old. .The tiny bowl of hot sour soup was the only edible part of my lunch and it was cold...I just don't believe that the one employee that was running the entire restaurant did anything more than just plate us some old food that she pulled from the fridge and just microwave...
