Terrible service with an attitude. Cotton Patch in Granbury used to be one of my favorite restaurants and I would eat there 4 to 8 times a month. The last three times I went there I received bad service and/or bad food. I went there yesterday and had the worse service I've had in years because it came with attitude. We came early to avoid the lunch crowd and were initially the only customers in the restaurant. We each ordered a salad and a loaded baked potato, and asked for rolls. Easy right? Not for this server. Three of the four items brought to us were incorrect. One of the baked was hard as a rock and both were cold, probably left over from the night before. Also the sodas were flat. After repeated requests for rolls and not receiving them (while watching the server bring them to tables near us) I finally got up and asked another server to get them. I requested to speak to the manager about the inedible potatoes and he did eventually bring us new ones. I had to get up from the table two times and find other people to help us as our server would seemingly disappear. No refills drinks, etc. I noticed servers coming into the restaurant unprepared to work. One was tucking her shirt into her pants and rifling through her purse for a belt at the counter and was surprised to see I was standing there waiting to talk to the manager. The restaurant seemed chaotic and unprepared to be open. The cornbread wasn't ready and available, even as we left almost an hour after being there. It took a long time to get anything and the servers seemed to be streaming in late and unprepared. To top it all off our server gave us a bad attitude for wanting our order done right and wanting hot fresh food. I won't be eating at the Granbury location for a...
Read moreDisgusted by this restaurant. Giving 1 star because I have to give at least one to post. Got a to go order and it was entirely messed up. Not to mention there were MANY HAIRS in our food which included battered items. I immediately called and spoke with a male manager and he was going to get it taken care of by comping our next meal there. Today we ordered and spent less than what our original order was and spoke with a female manager. She said she would get it ready for us. I gave her my name and number and waited for a call back if they had questions. They didn't not call so we went to pick up order. Get there to be told we couldn't have it comped as promised because there were no joye left about it and it wasn't their fault. HA! It's not their fault they cant make and order correctly or that there is hair in all their food? WOW! Its is easy to pass the blame to others and not take responsibility for your errors. We will not be visiting this establishment again. We've had many different issue from dirty utensils and dirty plates and this tops it's off being full of hair and then told it wasn't their fault. What a joke. Don't eat here unless you like hair in your food and services on dirty dishes. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to eat ita not worth the time or money for the lack of effort they apply to customers. They also blamed DoorDash for the hair being fried into their onion rings & said DoorDash has to fix the problem. I find this ridiculous. EAT HERE AT...
Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at the Cotton Patch in Granbury, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. I’m not usually one to write reviews, but what I witnessed there was so shocking that it compelled me to share my experience. While I was waiting for my order, which already seemed to be taking an unusually long time, one of the staff members, a young woman in a black jacket, turned what should have been a pleasant meal into an episode of chaos. She began screaming, cursing, and yelling in the dining room. To my utter disbelief, this behavior continued for an extended period, all while children were present. It was absolutely disgraceful to see such a lack of professionalism in a family restaurant. This woman’s outburst not only disrupted the meal but also created an uncomfortable and hostile environment. The presence of children made the situation even more disturbing. To say that this incident was upsetting would be an understatement. It’s incredibly disappointing to see such a great place fall so short of basic customer service standards. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this issue and ensures that such unprofessional behavior is never repeated. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend the Cotton Patch in Granbury to anyone looking for a pleasant...
