I am new to Granby, having lived here only 2 weeks. I moved for a job, and one of the questions I asked during my interview was if there was a good old-school diner where I would be able to get a great cheeseburger (you know the kind... crispy edges and juicy center) and some good old-fashioned crinkle-cut fries and a chocolate shake. Everyone in the meeting emphatically said, " Debbie's!"
Today was my first day to visit, and I was not disappointed! My burger was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. The bun and the veggies were fresh, the fries were hot and seasoned well, and I loved dipping them in the spicy mayo! (To each their own, people.) The chicken was also hot and juicy, and the sauces complemented the chicken so well.
I ordered a pup patty for my dog, which he devoured in record time. The only thing missing was a shake, and I wanted to save something for the next visit. I placed my order online and it was due to be ready at 4:15, I walked through the door at 4:00 and about 5 minutes later had my food. Holla!
The staff was very friendly - with me, and with themselves, which I always enjoy seeing. The space was clean and reminiscent of an old diner for sure.
I am so happy to have found this place, and I'm so thankful to the people who recommended Debbie's to me.
You have a new lifelong customer! Thank y'all for your delicious food and your lovely hospitality....
Read moreUpdate 7 Feb 2025 Ordered baby beef and Ranch burger with large crinkle cut fries and large chocolate malt. Everything was good and the cashier spoke English with slight accent. Last time the cashier barely spoke English. Our entire order was $30 and covered by Grand County Seniors meal voucher 12 October 2024 My wife ordered a beef baby burger, which was cold and overcooked . I got the 3 chicken tenders. We also ordered a large crinkle cut fries and a large chocolate shake. Complaints: First, the current menus on the website are mostly outdated, only the current menu should be pictured. Secondly they charge $0.35 for a dipping sauce with the tenders (they don't give any sauce with them, even McDonald's give you 2 free sauces). Also $0.80 to add malt to a shake. Both extra charges are not plainly stated on the menu and very small print. Thirdly we paid with a Debbie's voucher from Grand County Seniors, the staff was confused about that works. I couldn't phone in the order, had to be placed in person, huh?? We used to like this place, I believe I rated it a 5 awhile ago, has definitely gone downhill since. I appreciate the support of Grand County Seniors but employees need some training on the details. Hopefully with some more attention paid to customer service the rating...
Read moreWe were in town for a wedding. Stopping to Debbi's for lunch. Definitely has the old school and small town diner feel. They also have a drive thru.
there was plenty of seating and parking. They also have outdoor seating and an old Chevy out front, which was neat.
We ordered two chicken sandwiches, fries and milkshake. We also had one of their freshly glazed donuts. The staff at the counter were super personable and friendly. No table service. You walk up and order.
The food was warm and fresh. They wrap it in aluminum foil, so perfect for on the go. We also enjoyed our meal. The milkshake was smaller than expected, but was good. You could drink it with a straw. Instant brain freeze!
Service was quick. Maybe 2-3 minutes. They are staffed well for a Saturday. Guy behind us waited longer. Maybe 10 minutes, but he had two large bags of food. Drive thru waited maybe 5 minutes for one car and 3 minutes for the other. We lucked out because it was empty when we came in. Then started to really fill up.
Great place. Would recommend.
Other notes - They have a Lavazza coffee machine
There were a few flies flying around and it was...
