The owner of this establishment saw fit to hire my niece, without ever actually meeting her. She also saw fit to train her for one full day, before expecting her to work alone in the bakery. This is a safety concern at the very least, (for anyone, let alone a minor). I also find it unprofessional for the owner to communicate with a employee, via text only. I personally saw the text exchange. This may be the primary way that teens communicate these days. This does not, however, warrant the owner following suit. When my niece was out of town, (which she informed the owner of) she abruptly received a text messages stating that she needs people “who want to pick up shifts” and that she wishes her the very best”. Condescending at best. When my sister in law voiced concern about her daughter being left to work alone, the use of text messages and the general unprofessional tone, she was told to let her handle it alone. Again, she is of working age, but still a minor. This is unacceptable behavior for a adult, and business owner. We visit Michigan often, and will not support a business who treats people this way. Our young generation needs people to look up to, and learn from. They do not need to be treated with disrespect and little regard. Please do not support this bakery. Buy your frozen cinnamon...
Read morePlace the phone call to see if they would honor a Certificate I purchased at a local radio station. They told me they would. Mind you. It was two years old with no expiration date on certificate. Showed up on-site. Told me they would no longer honor that Certificate essentially. Cost me twelve dollars and fifty cents for a $25 certificate. They offered me a 10% discount I. Declined. They could of at least offered me two free cinamon rolls to help eaz the pain. It's not like it costs them twelve dollars and fifty cents to make two cinnamon rolls. This is not good business practice. I already spent twelve dollars and fifty cents and was looking to buy much more than this certificate was worth. Honestly, for this reason alone and how this was handled, I will never return to the establishment again.. Leaving a sour taste in my mouth when I spend hard-earned money And try to redeem a Certificate, They offered through a local radio station that I purchased.. From this point on, I will boycott both locations. Upset and frustrated at how owners handle this. I have other certificates for other restaurants. And I called them and they said they will honor them no matter what the date. Even though the owner responded to stop in and see Melissa for 2 free seminoles. I'm still not going back to this...
Read moreHappened upon Cinnamom looking to scratch my donut itch. Quick Google search they popped up as a donut shop near by. I was quite please when we pulled in to find plenty of places to park. It's a cute lil establishment however I was a underwhelmed when I walked up to the counter. The display case was so tiny compared to a donut shops display case. I may have looked around the room for a second wondering where the rest of them were. I know, I know it's not a donut shop but that's what I actually wanted. I've never really have been a big fan of Cinnamon rolls I almost left but then I spotted their Cinnamon cream roll I had to try it and as I found one my husband chimed in and said he wanted to try their salted caramel. So we bought Cinnamon rolls to go. The containers this lady pulled out fit the rolls perfectly and they're gigantic. We brought them home, WOW are they good. They are so soft. She also gave us reheating instructions for later because the cinnamon rolls are that big. I'm...
