The Palace Grill — Restaurant in Grand Blanc Charter Township

This restaurant was shocking and ridulous. DO NOT EAT HERE! The service was atrocious! The food was no where near what we order. To start it took about 20 minutes to get anyone to come to our table to bring us water. When the waitress came she immediately had attitude. It took forever for the food to come out and when it did it was all cold and had ingredients in it that we SPECIFICALLY asked to be omitted. When we sent it back the waitress had the AUDACITY to bring the food BACK and ask to see the ingredients. Then when we asked to speak to a manager to discuss the horrible service and food we were informed that there is NO MANAGEMENT! On my way outside to smoke a cigarette, remove myself and son from the heated situation, and wait for the rest of my party, I overheard our waitress vulgarly bashing our group. Once rated 5 stars, this was our go to for breakfast anytime we had the itch and didn't wanna make it ourselves. We absolutely love our waitress(she's the older lady with the glasses) she's always so happy and cheery I'm sorry, I'm bad with names. We'd bring our kids in and alot of times we'd even stop in and eat on our anniversary. But we can't eat there anymore. We heard about the rift raft that went on and despite that still came in because we loved our food, and our waitress. The flies wouldn't leave us or our food alone. My husband and I ordered our favorite palace special with French toast. Owners are miserable people and the place has gone downhill!! I’ve seen them disrespect staff and customers! (I personally know past and present employees) Quality of the food is horrible! The owner also refuses to fix the issue with the door! ( getting a stopper on the other side would solve the issue for only a few bucks) The glass has been broken multiple times a year, and although insurance covers to get it fixed they still charge the individuals that were involved in the incident of the door smacking the brick! Weather intentional or not, innocent people are harassed to pay and even taken to court just so the owner can pocket the money and it’s disgusting!
